What's up with Scratch Marks?
It's like everyone has Lightweight basekit or something.
They're appearing at weird intervals and I can't track anyone.
It's almost unplayable.

The same thing has been happening to me. Sometimes the scratch marks will just straight up disappear and then reappear 100 meters away from me, or they will go up random points of elevation. Its been happening, at least since I can remember, since Dracula released in live servers. I've seen a lot of other posts about this, but the devs, at least to my knowledge, haven't talked or addressed this.

It's wild.
There's a definite delay before they appear and 'spaces' where they do not at all.Chasing a healthy survivor is very challenging, now O_O

The same thing is happening to me, and it's so annoying! I'm not going to play Killer until the new chapter is out.

The worst part is this is all happening after BHVR released a patch that was supposed to make scratch marks reliably visible.
And the PTB has another patch that is supposed to make scratch marks reliably visible, but it STILL doesn’t work at all on objects that lack collision, like the tall grass that covers large portions of the swamp maps.

Played a couple of games as Survivor and the killers were really struggling, too :(
It isn't fun for me on either side T_T

I'm just playing to do Tome stuff, but this may be a good time to focus on the escape challenges :P

They have been bugged for a while, the PTB has them fixed up pretty nicely though and they are behaving a bit more like they used to.

I have been playing the game since 2018 and have about 2000 hours on both Killer and Survivor and the scratch marks seem to disappear faster each year and the scattering seems to be getting worse. When playing Killer, they scatter to different sides of ceilings and parting paths, especially on maps inside buildings, and when playing Survivor, there are more and more cases where my opponent suddenly loses sight of me during an otherwise uneventful chase.

pure copium. there are perks that reduce scratch marks and make them disappear. and instead of accepting you've been outplayed, you blame the devs by imagining something is broken when it isn't
-5 -
Yes, we know this. The problem is that scratch marks are broken even when this perk isn’t being used (you know you can see what perks are being used in postgame lobby, right)? If you actually played killer, you would understand what others in this thread are talking about

You used to even be able to hear the sounds as killer. Not anymore. That's this game in a nutshell. The killer gets his sight and sound impaired at base.

I play killer and the scratch marks work great.

Everyone else in the topic is conspiring against you and you, of course, are correct.
I appreciate your input and would like to get more insight into your views but, alas, your profile is private T_T
Edit - was able to see your recent posts using Google - I do not think further discussion is possible.

Ah, the classic appeal to popularity fallacy. Good try, better luck next time.

Who am I appealing to by mentioning your previous posts and rhetoric?
The only people involved in the conversation are you and me.
Based on their content, I think you need more practice with your debating techniques (well, definitions, at least) and trolling skills.
Again, I certainly appreciate the....attempt....at conversation, but I'll be saving my keystrokes in the future.
