Chucky’s Scamper Needs a Rework, Not a Nerf

The way they nerfed Scamper was overkill. Instead of balancing it, they completely removed one of the most fun and unique parts of his kit—crawling under pallets.

If the devs thought it was too strong, they could have at least made it a stack-based ability rather than just deleting it. For example:

•2-3 charges of Scamper that regenerate over time.

•Cooldown per charge so it can’t be spammed.

•Using Scamper under a pallet costs a charge, so survivors still have counterplay.

This would make him more strategic instead of just another M1 killer with a slightly different lunge. Right now, Chucky feels way less fun to play, and survivors barely have to think about pallets against him anymore.

    Never played him enough to get a firm grasp on the power but have watched many streamers, and thus sounds pretty cool actually.

    All they needed to do was make (manual) scamper take 1.7-1.9 seconds and it would have been fine.

    I miss old chucky, he was so fun but over the time he got nerfed after nerfed, then changed and then nerfed… like he is not even fun or good anymore.

    Oh I am so happy I didn't buy any of new chucky skins because they would be totaly underused and I would felt bad since he is not fun anymore.

    Just undo the nerfs, so he can have real power again. Good survivors will still trump him anyway, but at least he'll be able to beat inefficient survivors again. Right now he can't even beat them.
