Do you guys think we can have mods back (if they aren't exploitable)

i would really love for mods to come back since they breathe so much fresh air into the game. However i am fully aware mods bring much more harm than good and that's just sad to see. I am asking if Bhvr can bring back mods without exploits being a part of it (even tho they most likely wouldn't since it can harm their income by enabling users to customize survivors with mod skins). This is just a pipe dream, but i am staying optimistic.

As fun as they could be, I cant see a single way they can come back without being exploitable.

BHVR.. Give us tiny killer skins for survivors
Those were the most fun things about modding

even skins that added funny outfits to survivors gave small advantages when playing killer. and vice versa. they might not seem like they would but they do. i don't think there is any reasonable way they could

You used to be able to mod in this game? Really? When did that begin and end?

A few years ago, but it only lasted for a few months. Players were modding in Legacy-Outfits for characters who dont have any or own cosmetics.

But obviously there are several reasons why this is not good - e.g. it potentially reduces BHVRs income, since people can just use modded cosmetics instead of buying the actual ones. And obviously they can also provide unfair advantage, e.g. making Killer powers visitible (there were bright pink trapper Traps) or making Survivors super visible by giving them bright cosmetics.

Highly unlikely to ever come back for multiple reasons.
