Skull merchant

I am a P100 skull merchant main that never was a chess/3 gen merchant, I was and still am a chase merchant. I understand the reason for her rework, and then now I understand the reason for her rework yet again, I’ve said it I feel like 100 times but all SM needed with how she is now was to just remove deep wound, but they buffed deep wound so now you’re screen isn’t dark anymore, remove broken, slightly reduce the haste and hindered cuz removing haste almost entirely was very unfair because it was apart of her kit from the beginning. I want my haste, I want to keep the undetectable I still want my drones, I still want my geographical readout with 10 second duration like it used to be instead of 8 seconds. If they remove haste, undetectable, the add ons expired batteries in its current state and geographical readout entirely they will be gutting her even more and she won’t be the killer I fell in love with.

    my condolences. I hope whatever they do it’s awesome because I think she is a really interesting and unique killer. I faced one the other day and it was cool, because I feel like never see them anymore. I hope they toy with your ideas and see what can be done, because I would like to see more of her.

    This might just be me, but I think we should at least give them the opportunity to show us what they have planned. They have released the Design Preview but words on a screen are far less tangible than actual gameplay, so Id stick around until we get a PTB.

    I can understand the frustration, dont get me wrong, but it's also just a good idea to not jump the gun just yet.

    New skull merchant will have her reduced to 4.4m/s, she THROWS the drones at survivors now. Having her hum a Russian lullaby would be too obvious... she WHISTLES an anime opening. TOTALLY different character.

    We definitely need more chase Merchants like you (it just couldn't be me). The chase is always the most interesting part of the game.

    True, I started to play her mainly for haste, pallet breaking and undetectable. I like M1 killers and this made her quite viable even without playing chess.

    First she lost pallet breaking and they want to remove haste and undetectable too. All while trying to act like they keep her design with lore, like anyone cares about that.

    Both of her version were possible to make work, but I guess it's easier to do rework ala Riot (completely new character and only name is same).

    Gee I wonder how you came to that conclusion

    Also "I want my haste, I want to keep the undetectable" as if haste or undetectable are good game mechanics

    my main issue with skull merchant 2.0 (before this most recent nerf) were 2 main things.

    1. she got free, permanent , and unconditional haste whenever a survivor got scanned from anywhere on the map. It made chases against her very frustrating because she would randomly get perma bloodlust 1 just from existing because your teammate got scammed from her stealth drone across the map.

    2. The lock on stacks NEVER regressed. This is what I think was the core main issue with her power against uneducated teams. Because the lock on meter would stay there forever until you eventually got a claw trap and got it removed essentially meant skull merchant had perma haste for the whole trial pretty much (and they said mft was a problem…) Something that would’ve helped tremendously is any time you hack her drone it would remove one of your lock on stacks so you aren’t giving her perma haste for the whole game.

    Other than that I was fine playing against skull merchant 2.0, if they added my proposed change to remove some of the lock on stacks I think she would be much more healthy but also not at the same time since her brain dead playstyle would still exist from dropping a drone in the middle of the loop and completely trapping the whole loop just from 1 button click.
