I am so excited because it will be nice to just play and be rewarded for naturally having fun!
There have been so times when I had rare moments happen, but I didn't have that challenge selected at the time.

You can finish all the quests at one go without even knowing now! Also, you can pin a quest so you can see it in-game. I am super stoked.

Agree, I was pretty excited about this too. Being able to complete more than one quest in a game is crazy efficient and much needed. Especially when it comes to escape quests lol I took some screenshots for those who didn't tune in
Dailies having rift fragments is a nice update too

I see the thing there saying "Week 1" what if the next week happens, do those quests disappear? If so i am extremely sad by that, the one thing DBD had going for it in terms of the concept of a "battle pass" was that i wasn't forced to log in every day to complete challenges. I could take a break and not feel like i was missing out.

They don't disappear 😊 they remain for the entirety of the Rift, so you can complete them at any point within the time frame.
And the old Tomes are still accessible too, for anyone wondering. Though they did say "available for awhile" which alot of folks in the chat seemed to catch, but it's very possible there's no meaning to that comment.

2nd question, which they probably didn't talk about.
Are you forced to automatically "claim" them after completing them? Or can you save them up like we do now where you can get some bonus BPs for when the new content comes out?

Someone can correct me if I missed it, but I didn't hear them mention if the rewards are automatically claimed. I did see alot of people asking this question though in chat, and the assumption was that you could no longer save. Hopefully Mandy can clarify for us. The old Tomes will still be the same set-up though, so new players or those who haven't completed them can still save.

The new system won't be added to the game until May. What was revealed today was just a preview.

From the livestream, he said this: "The lore will be taken out as well given its own button called the 'Tomes'. That's where all lore, new and old, will be housed moving forward."

I guess this means no new glyph challenges?
I just hope the old archive challenges never ever go away. Ever. And they shouldn't, since they're tied to charms and lore to unlock. I need my pustula plant challenge. Kind of fun to have a purple glyph challenge on as killer so I can stumble across it randomly, too.

Pretty sure there are no more challenges coming, only quests, and they said quests are always active. Not sure how BHVR feels about having so many glyphs being generated. Green glyphs at least seem like they could be a problem.

The dev speaking used a phrase like 'they'll be around for a while' or something. It sounded a little… far-future unsure.

Completely agree, the QOL changes are nice but I really don’t see what the point of removing the Archives is, just makes the game feel less special and more like literally any other live-service slop game
