The Ghoul: Terrible stun lock when grabbed
This is just something needs adjusted else its really strange for survivors. The standing still for 1-2 seconds as he pulls to hit you, its so weird and confusing. It feels terrible to me as a long time player. It needs to become either a single instant hit OR you can still move walking pace as he comes to hit OR you get dragged to the killer. So you dont get that weird confusion, "Why cant i move???" instant feeling.
Also the hits you get, as you go around a wall, but still locked on to. I think you know about that bug or weird behaviour though.

It feels awful. And it happens from so far away I barely have any time to realise the killer actually after ME. It's a bit ridiculous.

the killer also gets locked in the animation for 5 seconds, so you don't lose any distance. it's just how they designed the hit animation for some reason

I think they just need to have an animation that shows like, the tentacles grabbing you. There's 4 of them, and it feels like the animation is supposed to have 2 of them holding the survivor in place, while the other 2 do the hitting. But it doesn't look like it during the actual animation.

Yeah to be clear, im not saying its "unfair". Its just weird for either survivor or killer to be stopped by it. No other killer has a pause…….. then you can run away. It just feels wrong to stand still, regardless any animation. There has to be an alternative to keep you in the chase and moving. Add hindered to the survivor to provide the same distance closing or something. At least your still moving.

100% agreed, I think it is very janky how it is currently implemented and they really need to work on this animation, it feels so out of place to get grabbed by him.

My friend thought it was a bug the first time it happened to him. He argued with me a bit when I told him it wasn't a bug, like "No, you don't understand." "Dude, I was watching. It was exactly the same on the PTB. It's intended." He was flabbergasted, and I understand why: it's a really long stun and it doesn't feel right when it happens.
