Quality of play vs. time of day
I have recently had a change in my personal schedule and have been playing DBD at different times than I have historically (8 pm - 3 am MST). Much has been made about "3:00 am DBD" over the years and what a weird mixed bag it can be, and that's true (which is why I love it).
But recently I have played more in the 8:00 am - 11:00 am range, and it features the consistently worst play I have seen yet. It's like a clown show most of the time.
Obviously weekend evenings/nights are peak time for public matches, but I am curious to see what other people's experience is. What times do you see the worst/best play?

I play in asia so it works a bit different here than it did when I was living in Europe 4 months ago.
Playing as killer: in the mornings it is pretty chill. Not as many swf and you can basically experience what is peak hours in Europe. Sometimes challenging and sometimes you get complete noobs. At night tho aka peak hours, you get exclusively swf try hards with only meta perk sweat fests and rampant chinese hackers... so a frustrating experience.
Playing survivor: In the morning, afternoon and night... it is hell. Most people bring self care against killers like legion. Very selfish builds that does nothing but waste time, time they could be doing generators. Then you have the chinese hacker that ruins it for everyone and Playing in general becomes VERY unsatisfying.
After the blood moon event I will uninstall. May reconsider after seeing the future "health updates" outcome... and if it breaks the game further then it will stay un-installed. Wish you luck man.

The weekends are the least enjoyable along with a little slot of time weekdays from around 6-9 or so.
The killers are super aggressive, hardly time to think.
The survivors are always working together, not much fun, but a good time to practice efficiency stuff.
midday, when I happen to have a moment, killer is pretty enjoyable, survivor is not fun at that time, no one wants to do anything to advance the match, you'll see the occasional swf 2 mixed into the match that wants to practice loops and saves.

For me, 12 - 3 PM is a slaughter fest. Clueless teammates usually versing a competent (but not especially tryhard) Killer. You can run the Killer for at least a gen only to look at the hud to see that yes, were are indeed still at 3 gens and not a single Survivor is repairing one.
From 4 - 6 PM, the sweatier Killers come out to play but the Survivors are still the same. This is the worst time to play for me.
From 6 - 10 PM my games become more balanced and generally feel fairer. I assume this is the time that the most players are online so the MMR system is probably working better. This is the best time to play for me.
10 PM - 12 AM is what I call SWF O'clock. Instant Killer queues but fairly long Survivor queues. I sometimes play Survivor at these times for the novelty of playing with Survivors that really know what they're doing. They'll often be able to save my potato Survivor behind, but the Killers tend to be a bit too much for me, with high chances of facing a Blight or Spirit. Sometimes they'll be a wannabe bully squad SWF and be throwing themselves at the Killer (that's not so much fun because I know the Killer will be in a bad mood and nobody will survive). But I usually just play Killer at this time.
After 12 AM - Things get weird. 50% chance you'll get meme Survivors or tryhards.
Saturday all day is sweaty. Sundays can be pretty chill.

The time of day makes a massive difference. For me anything like 8pm EST and all through the night is hard sweat time. Everyone’s only focus is winning, wayyy more swf groups and just bringing every bnp, syringe, styptic and map offering they can.
Morning and mid day is much more chill.

Yeah, I figured night/early morning would feature the sweatiest play, it only makes sense and is the same in most games. But it's only recently I've tried playing during the day and realized just how different it is.
Even during the sweat o'clock hours I play relatively chill, but bringing even that level to the daytime makes me feel like a sweatlord. It's like a different game.

That’s why I miss being able to swap killers in lobby. If they look sweat I could swap to my better killers but if they look chill then I could swap to weaker killers or ones I’m not as good with. Now it either leads to pub stomping or lobby dodging.
