Why does MFT need to be changed?
I keep hearing and seeing people talk about how MFT is such a big problem these days.
I do not understand why MFT is considered a problem right now. Does it really need to be nerfed?
I am willing to change my beliefs if I am provided with a reason that makes sense.

It really is no problem. It is currently decent because Ghoul puts the Survivor into Deep Wound with the first hit. And IMO you can rather question why exactly he has to inflict Deep Wound in the first place, this is just something extra which is not really needed…
But the Perk in itself is fine, most of the time you need to run at least one other Perk to put yourself into Deep Wound against most of the Killers and even then it is not guaranteed to get value out of it (e.g. OTR when the Killer is not tunneling or simply waiting out Dead Hard…).

nerfed? It’s not a problem. The survivors just want OG MFT back. Others are just mad they can’t 4k every single game and don’t like the taste of their own medicine, when they’re done bullying solo q and people below their brackets. Survivors just like og mft more than its current iteration, even if the current iteration isn’t bad. Again needed evil.

It doesn't need any further changes it's just being used often now since everyone is playing Ghoul.

When it got nerfed people barely used it anymore, so alot of players were happy. It's a decent perk against the Ghoul because he puts you in Deep Wound frequently so it's getting alot of usage again. I guess those same players are unhappy.

It seems fine to me. No nerfs needed.

No, but hope definitely does. I feel like thats where the hate for mft comes from, this combination is busted af

To be fair MFT has always been the problem child of a perk. Rather than just giving you a free haste on injured they changed it to being on a more nich effect (deep wounds.) Because of the new killer people are getting pretty good use out of it again and realizing how annoying it is to go against and lack of tell that somebody is using it. It's kind of the problem with haste perks with killer/survivor in general. Either activation is too niche making it provide little value or the haste effect itself is too small to provide any value. Haste is just too difficult to balance around.

It doesn't need a change. The Endurance after a heal is good, the Haste while deep wounded makes it better, but it doesn't feel game breaking at all. Whether people are trying to counter the new killer, Legion, Houndmaster, tunneling, or trying to synergize with purple instaheal, DH, or OTR, that's fair game for a perk slot. There's way more obnoxious things on the survivor end than that.

Yeah, I've switched back to Off The Record and Sprint Burst simply because they're transitioning off of Ghoul since Made For This is situational.
At least with Off The Record I can trigger it especially if I get tunneled - which many Ghouls love to wait out endurance and Iron Will is used so much, so they do not care that you're silent when being off hook.
Edit: Made For This, Sprint Burst (for the initial speed / Ghouls love to try to bite you if they see you create distance), Off The Record (to prevent being tunneled and triggering Made For This), and whatever fourth perk you wanna run.

It should get buffed but in no world nerfed

It's just popular again lately because it's good against Ghoul.
Anyway, it doesn't need to be changed at all. It's in a good spot right now.

This.

I switched from Dramaturgy/Finesse to Made for This and WGLF (with Resilience and Deliverance). This worked out as well, mostly because of so many Ghouls.
When he is less popular there will be less MfTs as well. But I am also considering to use OTR instead of WGLF, just to get more consistent value and have something against tunneling. (Even tho, WGLF came in clutch in two games and my confirmation bias makes me want to keep running it, lol)

Yeah, WGLF is good.
I like Empathic as it's more universal healing, I might make that my fourth perk to trigger endurance hits!
I actually had a Blight DC against it (not this build in particular) - I healed the downed survivor with Empathic, triggered MFT endurance, and we all got out and he dced after multiple slugging.
Empathic /WGLF is nutty with MFT.
It's funny watching survivors come to me for heals.
Empathic Connection is super underrated.
It's a reverse Kindred (shows survivors where you are when injured, so they can see where you are during the hook phase), a stronger Better Together (because of the hud, they know what gens I'm working on), and it allows me to be as hands free as possible as the survivor has to come to me for heals. Super great perk, I'd recommend especially if soloq - even without soloq the healing in general is very nice.

People are complaining about MFT? I haven't seen anything like that. If anything I think its Haste should be buffed to 4%.

Ghoul puts people in auto deep wound, so everyone runs MFT to counter Ghoul, since MFT's pretty much one of the only ways Kaneki isn't impossible to play against
This naturally leads to people playing the current contender for a spot in the top 3 strongest killers in the game to complain
3 -
MFT isnt an issue, people just complain about the perk since it negatively impacts a player's experience when playing the Ghoul.
In a similar sense, people who get constantly destroyed by the Ghoul because they dont understand how to play around them also complain because it negatively impacts their experience.
Two sides to the same coin, and youll never hear the end of it until the Ghoul's usage rate drops.

The only ones wanting it nerfed are the salty new Ghoul mains and it's really not hard to imagine why.
3 -
Yeah because it is a direct counter to Kaneki and it's one of the few things survivors have where they don't need to change their playstyle and can do it well against him. Since a lot of people are playing Kaneki right now, they think it's a bigger issue than it is. It's fine how it is.

Honestly, I think the only nerf haste perks need on both sides is some sort of visibility they exist. Sometimes I wonder if I'm gaslighting myself.

We could make the characters glow when under Haste, that would make it very obvious, but it would also look very silly.

MFT has not been a problem since its much needed nerf about a year ago. It's literally a fine perk now and needs no changes. It doesn't need a buff and most certainly does not need a nerf, not now not ever.
