Random and unnecessary ui change?
Why did they change it so that if you have over a 1000 addons it now says 999+. It's not that big of a deal but honestly it's the principle of it. This was a completely unnecessary change that removes info for no reason.

i don't think this works like this.
You'd be right if every player had his own table in the databank with every item inserted as it's own row, but that would be a horrible decision.
I'd guess you have a table with players so that you can identify them by a playerID, then you have a table with items where you get your own row per item with your playerID chained to it, then if you use it or buy a new one it simply decreases or increases the quantity column.
Otherwise you'd be right and they would trash their own server with items.
Edit:
Oh and of course the difference would be that more items in own rows would cost more space than just a column getting changed.
