Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

When people come to the forums to talk DBD there's a lot we love about the game but there's a lot that bothers a lot of people so they just resonate with more negative post typically. You'll see a lot of post especially if you hang around general or balancing sections as while people try to have civil discussions in a positive way a lot of discussion is over inherently negative issues where everyone has their own views so there's going to be a lot of disagreements and debate.

If you want more positive stuff off topic has a decent amount of that. I don't really see DBD threads being made for positivity outside of for the sake of "needing a positive thread" being useful because usually OP's will just make them and not commit to keeping the thread alive.

Granted your image is really vague. I feel feedback about something negatively impacting the game is fine. It's where users are at each others throats because they can't come to terms that you won't agree with everyone where negativity really comes from or in some cases referring to devs as rude things because they didn't get it right the first time.

I mean what am I supposed to say to something good? "Yes bhvr designed kaneki pretty good I agree", at the same time while I say that there are around 5000 people probably that simply hate his power design or a specific part, and have something to say how to fix that in their opinion.

It's simply easier to talk about negative things than positive ones:

Negative things still need work and you can talk about ideas to fix them and what even the problem is.

Positve things are done for the most part, you can say that you like them, but most people wont have an in depth conversation what they like about that specific thing. It doesn't really have a point except talking to people I guess.

I agree there's a lot of love and I love to see it. It is certainly nice to see discussion about why we all play this game, it does slightly sadden me to see all of the negativity, hence why I made the post, but the picture itself is intentionally vague, as it's more of an exaggerated observation rather than a formulated opinion statement.

    Welcome to the internet.

Specifically forums and any game discussion especially live service games.

People who enjoy the game dont comment really anything. They are playing.

People who dont enjoy the game, do.

People who are upset speak up more than people who are happy. Just how it is unfortunately.

I try and be positive but it makes sense why people are mad. The Ghoul is strong, the event is weird, and people would rather have an Us Vs Them and post about how “X is strong” because they want to play a game like Skyrim where they win <90% of the time.

most people like the game and want to talk about how much they love it but unfortunately the minority who want to have the arguments are louder and more prevalent then the nice people.
