PSA: STOP BRINGING THE BLOODSHOT EYE
Bringing BPS helps everyone in the lobby and gives you more bloodpoints than the bloodshot eye ever could.

No surprise. BPS and cakes have and always will be better than every event offering since they double EVERY score event for EVERYONE (including the event score events). I don’t get why bhvr doesn’t make every event offering have a base BPS at 100% bonus bp for everyone and then a 150 or 200% bp bonus for the event score events. It would be way more beneficial and would make sense especially for the blood moon where the whole purpose of the event is to gather massive amounts of BP.
How I would change the offering:
Bloodshot eye:
- Provides 100% bonus bloodpoints to all players in the trial
- Provides a +200% bloodpoint bonus to all Blood Moon score events
- Reveals the aura of Blood pumps when within 32 meter(s) of one
- Stacks
This would make the offering so much better for everyone

I would bring them, but I only ever get like 2 every 5 prestige's, and now with the event offering I have an even less chance to get BPS. They definitely need to buff how often it appears or get rid of the other blood point offerings and make BPS the only BP offering.

I'm rather happy about this event offering since many players rather wanna use time limited stuff. Otherwise, people will bring map offerings. Today, I had 15 matches and five of them were map offering which is so pathetic.

I’ve brought BPS/Cake as Killer but I’m not bringing them as Survivor just so a Kaneki player can get way more points than me

The only reason I bring the eye is because I've run out of cakes on my main. I also won't bring party streamers or anniversary cakes because doing so seems to jinx me by summoning the sweatiest possible Killers and I get less than 10K BP. Plus, I'd rather save those for a time when I know everyone else will be burning them.
I wish BHVR would make the offerings stack for everyone but I think they want the BP gains to come from hitting the community goals instead.

Sorry, but what kind of terrible post is this? Everything has pros and cons and there are certainly some things that are not 100% right and could be changed. But everyone can and may use what they want. Period

I've tried over & over & everytime I bring bps its hard tunnel & proxy camp regardless what anyone else brought.
Players can play how they want, thats up to them, & I have zero desire to farm games! but now I just use escape cakes, still get more points & maybe my whole team can play more than 2 minutes (certainly not always but damn killers seem to be taking great offense to bps no idea why!)

As a killer I have only been brining bloody party streamers for everyone and anniversary cakes. :D

Cakes and streamers are forever. You use your bloodshot eyes during this event or lose them.

Okay but consider, I've got 70 Eyes to use on Kaneki alone. I've got 230 of them on Claudette, and only 103 BPS. I need to use these eyes before they sit in my inventory for a year.
BPS are eternal, these Eyes are useable for another 2 weeks, 1 of which I can't play for.

sadly i have no bps on most of my survivors :( i swear ill get like 1 every prestige level...except with steve for some reason

Then bring Escape Cake/Survivor Pudding. It's STILL better than the Bloodshot Eye. Hell, a Green Envelope is better than the Bloodshot Eye.

Hmm, not sure on the personal BP one (at least once we get to the next tier). 350% vs 250% total, vs 250% and one score is doubled so event BP counts for 500%?
Not certain on how the maths works, but I think that's right.

BPS are cursed for me. Every time I bring one I have the worst game and leave with bugger all points. Decided to tempt fate and brought BPS for 3 games in a row yesterday. Switched my console off after that.

Yeah but have you considered I get like 35 bloodshot eyes each prestige level and like 2 bloody party streamers at most? Not to mention that bloodshot eyes can only be used during the event, the rest of the year they will remain dead in my inventory.

This is my thinking as well. BPS are so much more useful but I gotta get rid these Eyes somehow. Better to save the streamers for when they can't be substituted.

Escape Cake/Survivor pudding affects ALL BP gains. Bloodshot Eye only counts for Blood Moon Scoring Events (which are piddly AF this event.)
Also the way it works is each offering increases that by +100% (or whatever) so like 5 Bloody Party STreamers would give you 600% of normal BP, as opposed to 100% which would be normal. It increases you final match score by whatever percent., double, triple, quadruple, so on. So, that's why I said even a +25% to EVERYTHING is better than +100% to just the Blood Moon Scoring stuff.0 -

I want to use as many of them up as I can while they're available, because other characters, I've got hundreds of event-specific offerings on. And since they're forced into our bloodwebs, I'll be getting a great deal of them.

Yeah, but the part I'm saying is that I think BPS and cakes are applied after the game, additively with any other % modifiers. But the event item is applied during the game and increases the BP gained from the actual scoring event (from when I was paying attention to the exact numbers). So, the BP gain from the bloodshot eye is then multiplicative with the total event BP bonus.
Or, a BPS is another +100% to your score after. A Bloodshot Eye is actually another +275% to the relevant category – which can be a pretty big chunk as a Killer. Unless you're co-ordinating so everyone's bringing BPS or anniversary capes, the extra 10k from hooking everyone with an eye actually works out to another +27.5k solo, even without kicking generators or cans or hitting people carrying cans etc., which is pretty much an entire game's score of itself.
And saves BPS for later.

I never understood these "personal" event offerings, every event we get these offerings and they do nothing and in every single event is so much more interesting to use the anniversary's offerings. its to difficult to make a decent event offering? i never use these. U get a million offerings on these events and u cant use them for the rest of year, its absolute zero sense to me.

I'm not bringing anything to give more points to all these Ghoul players. Plus, my cakes and party streamers will still be here when the event is over, but these eyeballs will become useless, so I may as well use them while they're still worth something.

If I have 50% bonus by just playing survivor, why would I stack it with cakes? I already have to spend bloodpoints between every game to not be capped all the time. Also can't use the event offering after the event.

I bring escape cakes bc no killers ever bring bps or cakes, they just bring surv pudding, and I would rather save my cakes and bps for people who aren't only thinking of themselves and like maxing out bloodpoints. No BPS for you if you cant even bring a green envelope (joke i hate green envelope but its better than nothing ig)
I was watching a streamer, and they saw four cakes and said, "Oooh, four cakes for me, thanks, survs" and then tunnelled the first person he saw out. I feel like that's just the majority of killers' ATTP. I'm saving my cobblers for my friends now.

I'm only using escape cakes now, flipping through survivors that have any,
80% of games on survivor where I brought bps the killer hard tunnelled or went for 4 man slugs (mostly a nurse i've played against dozens of times this week!) Players can play how they want but when killers already get way more points than survivors it just seems bps is begging them to tunnel.
Haven't had a single killer use bps or anniversary cakes the whole event (except when im killer & I let them go) zero desire to farm but playing for 8 hooks & trying to get the stupid bonus maxed out so I can go back to normal mode would be great!

Nope not till killers learn to stop playing like they are winning a imaginary 10 million dollar prize I shall enjoy my bps or ani cakes stacking to 500+ on my p 100 Leon, Yoichi and finally my p100 Trevor I got yesterday.
I at least will use green envelopes which works for all my teammates but not killer which I wish they make survivors only bps. Also killers themselves be not even brining any bps, actually seem like 95% of my games killers either use map offerings or bring moris ( which I seen a big increase of when ghoul release and it not ghouls brining them its actually every other killer). Like that lame Myers who bought tombstone piece and got one of my teammates with it like why bro? God until that add on is nerf ill be a locker jockey vs every myers.

Oh please, the usual blame killer mentality when survivors are also playing like its life or death in a super sweaty comp match. Bully squads, Gen rushers, annoying SWFs, every other annoying survivor build and behaviour under the sun are out in full swing, so stop with the us vs them nonsense.
People are gonna play to win, both sides are bringing cobblers and BPS for the most part. Ive seen way more from killers than ive seen from survivors though, unless its obviously a SWF where of course they're stacked so benefit even more from spending their BP bonus items.

Ok but at the end of the day being salty for someone not wanting to bring their things is petty and immature. Your doing the exact us vs them yourself so take your own advise lol.

In case you guys don't know, the Blood Moon score events are actually multiplied by multipliers after the match ends, such as the 500% global bonus, or any anniversary cakes/bps that are brought. Most BP you get from events does not work like this, but the Blood Moon points do.
So if you get 40000 points from the four categories you would normally get, but also get 20000 points from the Blood Moon, and the multiplier is 500% like it is now, then you will end up with 60000*6=360000 BP assuming nobody brought any cakes.
So the best move is for everyone except yourself to bring BPS and Anniversary cakes, while you bring Bloodshot Eye which then gets multiplied by everyone elses cakes on top of your regular score. Like the prisoners dilemma but in DBD.

Yes I know, also it's insta queue for survivor, if you don't immediately click ready, you will spend the same amount of bp that you will also get after the game. I'm stuck at cap, unless I don't instantly queue for new game.
