Does anyone ever start a match on a different region server?
I feel like this happens to me almost daily. I'll be playing a few matches on stable 40ms and then BAM, after like an hour im magically at 100ms and so are the survivors. Has this happened to anyone else?

This is my everyday being in US Central. I go where the game says I should go. I just played a match as the only person at 90+ ping spiking into the 110s while the others were at 50 or lower.

My friends and I got a lovely streamer for a team mate in one of our games last night. She was on around 180 ping. We're on the U.K. servers. We went in and said gg to her afterward, and she was from U.S. west.

Yes, this can happen from time to time. Not Daily from my experience, but it can happen. Pretty sure this happens when the Servers on your region are full, because it always affects every player in the Lobby. So if you live in Europe you might end up on some East Coast-Server and then everyone in your game is from Europe.
Worst thing is that this is not always visible in the Lobby… So you load into a game with everyone having 100+ Ping without any indicator beforehand.

Seems like all my surv games are 70-100+ ping now even in NA. I'll even sit on the pause screen and watch killer ping go up to sometimes 500-600ms+ and wildly flucatate until it drops to around ~100+ms. Might be because of the servers for the event, but regardless it's kinda annoying tbh. It is very noticeable and leading to some wacky moments in my games.

Yes. I had a game yesterday where all 5 players were on 250 ping. It was completely unplayable.

How do you see what region the server you are connected to is in?

You can't, but you can tell you aren't in the right one by your ms being completely different then what your wifi says its obtaining
