Freddy vs Wesker Who's Top Killer?
With the stats released today people are split on who's the top killer Wesker or Freddy?
While Wesker has a higher pick rate but Freddy is currently boasting with a 69% killrate
However in a poll by Hens over 71% with almost 8k votes Wesker is the stronger killer
Which side are you on and why do you think they're stronger?

The answer's pretty simple, that it's map dependent. Usually Wesker is already better, by a long shot. But on maps with a lot of non-linear loops like rock loops, Wesker can't physically use his power to anti-loop/injure. Freddy can at least use his snares to slow the survivors down at those spots. And Wesker's bounds are great for map traversal, but a tp straight to a gen will always be better in that area, even though it's totally choreographed, especially because that was something Freddy recently had buffed in his rework. And of course, those Wesker's who know the crazy huh techs that go across Gideon's holes and stuff, they're always gonna push him to an even higher level. Whereas once you're decent with Freddy, there's nothing more you can physically get better at; either the survivors can handle an M1 with minor anti-loop, or they can't.

wesker is stronger but because he's picked more he loses a lot more on average

I think people are sleeping on new Freddy...His snare can be useful in chase and Blood pallets can get you if you're not careful about them. Both can pub stomp, yet neither are immune to getting bullied and laughed at by survs who can evade their power and know their counters and pathing. So, gonna give one to the underdog. Let this man have his roses after all he's been through the last 8 years 😂

On paper, i think we all know wesker is stronger. Freddy just had a massive influx due to his rework and high mmr players using him

Freddy has good Macro, can get around the map and synergise with perks really well, not to mention has a lot of built in time wasting if you want to heal.
Wesker is just fast and good at 1v1, he also has tech which gatekeeps a lot of his playerbase from using him to his full potential.
I don't know which one is better, but I do find vigil does make facing Freddy better.3 -
Is there a translation issue? When you say top killer, do you mean best in the game or just between the two? Neither Freddy nor Wesker is anywhere close to the best killers. There's no argument to be made that the two best killers are Nurse and Blight, with Billy a close third. Nobody else is close to those three. Wesker is somewhere in the 10-15 range and Freddy is like 15-20.

For the overwhelming majority of players in this game, Freddy is way stronger, which is why he's at the top of both Deadliest Killer lists.
Wesker got hit way too hard with the map reworks, and with the multiple infection nerfs. He's still super popular to play because he's from Resident Evil, and because throwing survivors into walls is still visually dramatic… but the overwhelming majority of players would be better off picking Freddy so they can teleport directly to generators on a decently short cooldown.

Freddy is C-tier and Wesker B+ or even A- so Wesker is stronger. These kill rates will go down on Freddy when survivors are more used to new Freddy. He's pretty weak.

idk but they're both arguably stronger and better designed than the immensely stressful, 100% more effort required to play for similar (or less) reward piece of middling garbage (against survivors with half a brain) called Unknown.

Wesker.
Freddy’s kill rate is mainly that high because he was new and people didn’t know how to play against him.
He’s a massive noob stomper because he has so much going on that if you’re new you’d have no idea what is happening and what to do.
But against survivors who know what they are doing, who know to wake up before healing and know that using clocks basically removes all his anti loop, he struggles a bit.
He’s definitely not weak though and pretty underrated, I wouldn’t change anything about him at this point. I do think he will probably get weaker over time as more people learn how to counter him and realise how powerful utilising clocks are.

These aren't really accurate for measuring Freddy. Every killer on release has a high kill rate as people are learning how to play against them. IE if you look at his kill rate now, it's not even remotely close to that anymore.
For your question, it's Wesker, by a mile.
