Ghoul was not nerfed hard enough
This killer is actually ruining the game. Still broken overtuned aftter his "nerf" (if you can even call it that? lol) and whats even MORE disgusting is that you can literally run 6 PERKS on this killer. 4 slowdown perks, and then 2 addons that give you bamboozle and bbq for free. It is quite literally not possible to win vs this vs any kaneki with a pulse.

Hot take: he was nerfed incorrectly. Let me explain.
So Ghoul can hit you from super far away and thats def not fair. In response the grab range to environment and survivors was reduced by 2 meters. Little to no difference for getting hits but super cluncky for environment grabs, also factoring in the minamum leap range of 5 meters from the point of the grab, leaping for distance is alot harder. The attack range should've been the only thing being reduced and it should've been by a large amount, while the environment grabs should've been left untouched. Every other basekit change is fair imo, he still has enraged for majority of the match once he gets his first hit with power, thats a small problem with giving too many chances too often for team injures

Skill issue. I played against him without any problems after the nerf, it's much easier to avoid hits from his power. Any object you enter behind the power is canceled.

I'd rather too little than too much. Behavior has a history of gutting to appease the immediate community. I.e, Freddy who was the worst killer in the game for years.
After this, Behavior has remained mostly solid on not delivering immediate nukes because the community hasn't learned how to deal with a killer yet. Most recent releases have mostly been buffed, and only then tuned down a little later on after the killer has been out for a good bit.
Kaneki was wildly overperforming, though its not uncommon with new chapters. Behavior let the dust settle before making nerfs in the event that Kaneki's overperformance didn't stay consistent, but it did. He'll likely recieve a few more micro nerfs over the next couple patches if he continues to be still feel overtuned, but for a killer so fun and obviously extremely popular, they can't afford to make the wrong choices.
To compensate, bug fixes of course to make his power feel better to use but also quality of life changes like returning his 2 meters and instead nerfing his first free hit range drastically. You can already land on top of survivors with the first swing, you don't need to grab them across Narnia with the second.

The only thing left is toning down his enraged vault speeds slightly. It should be faster than Wesker but slower than it is now

I hate his range on his power to injure you. Like you can be 15+m away from him and just 1sec in line of sight and get free injure and power buff. Absurd.

Nerfs are deserved but we should wait to see how they turn out after a while before nerfing him further.
I don't expect him to get buffed back up ever though.

Basically the only thing I am still annoyed by is that he can fully cancel his slide after dash.
I think he should always slide, even if he press cancel during the dash, which means survivor can try to double back and it's not so easy to get next to a survivor.

+1. Just went against a Kaneki & I did this. Woulda been counterplay/outplay against Wesker but nope, Kaneki's aim lock just cancels out his sling and applies Deep Wound despite being on the other side of a tile. Took 3 weeks off & came back to this.
So much for a nerf, lmao.

Maybe its b/c people have already tried every avenue of counterplay imaginable and its very clear the killer is just overtuned.

Its zero % surprising you're most likely a player who likes to take advantages of broken killers and act like you're not doing anything wrong. Its much easier for you to defend the killer on the forums rather than actually play the game AGAINST a Kaneki & realize + accept you're completely wrong.

It's hard to take the complaints seriously when you see a clip on reddit of someone using windows of opportunity fail the basic test of "do I run to a strong window or do I run out in the open against the FttE using Ghoul?". Like the legitimate complaints with this killer are enabling people who have the game sense of an actual ant to complain about stuff that is entirely a skill issue on their part. And not even a small skill issue, like, you fundamentally are playing the game poorly kind of issue.
Ghoul's strong. Stupidly strong sometimes. But when seemingly most of the vocal playerbase is as bad as the person I saw in the clip? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. I can't take anyone seriously anymore.

Wouldn't mind if he had slightly shorter range on the grab attack. Ghoul now has 14m range on his power, but I feel like the injure should have only something like 10m range. It still feels like you can get the injure from way too far away.
Another thing I find weird is that when you break a pallet, the game actually sets your charges to 1 if you're not enraged, and 2 if you're enraged, it doesn't actually remove charges. So say you're enraged, you jump right next to a survivor but run out of charges, then break a pallet, you'll actually gain 2 charges. Very strange that they coded it like this. I think breaking a pallet should simply remove 1 charge instead, that would be more balanced and make more sense.
The enraged vault might need tweaking too, at least make sure survivors don't get stuck when being grabbed through a window or pallet.

Leave the boy alone.
He already requires a decent map, good perk combo and line of sight to be effective. There's no need to nerf him to the point where he becomes another M1 killer with a dash power. Practice more against him or give him a try if you think he is that easy to play as.

I have played against Kaneki after the changes. I have died sometimes and escaped sometimes. The same thing happens against every other killer in the game. But I’m not going to whine about a killer being “overtuned” every single time I lose to them. Sometimes a killer player is just better than you, or you have crappy teammates, don’t play well in that match, etc. No doubt that Ghoul was overtuned upon release, but he got a lot of nerfs and we need to see how those play out. People need to stop immediately crying for nerfs every single time they lose a match. You’re not going to win them all.

His mobility is simply too high to allow that little cooldown after canceling power.
You cannot run a lot of tiles against him and never in the open.
Paired with all the annoying "techs" promoted by "influencers" make it a dread to play against him5 -

The vault speed, which is far too high, also needs to be reviewed.5 -
Frankly, I can't stand to see people just screaming for the nerf of these killers without any desire to improve their own skills....

I already said this on another thread about the Ghoul. This situation reminds me of old Freddy, survivors crying wolf, that kind of thing.
The Ghoul with all the nerfs he's recieved over the month is completely gutted, unplayable and no one is playing him currently.-5
