So lightweight has been shadow nerfed... accidentally
for a very long time lightweight was technically base kit and because of that bhvr had to well, fix it. which they should've a long time ago. and in doing is. messed up lightweight and scratch marks are not spaced out with it which what was the strength of lightweight. misdirection. now all it does. make scratch marks disappear quicker… that's it.
I hope they fix that quickly, if they even realize it caz only a small minority talk about it because noone uses the perk.

Lightweight practically doesn't exist at the moment. I hope they fix it - it's one of my favorite perks.

Oh I didn't know this. I've been using it for the last couple months to now find its barely been working? Has it been reported in case it's a bug?

Considering the amount of videos about the issue, I'd be surprised if BHVR wasn't aware. Let's hope for a fix! At the moment, it's only real use is the marks despawning faster. The whole "intermittent" part of them isn't working in a way that's useful.

Really upset to find out the perk is ruined now. It was such a nice passive perk to slap onto Houdini builds.

I'll have to try Fixated with Lightweight to test this out. It's been a while since I last used this perk.
I used to be a fan but then I began to wonder if it was actually worth running anymore. Especially since Killers have a dozen different ways see you glowing bright orange from the other side of the map, does making your scratch marks inconsistent and disappear a little bit quicker than they might have otherwise really make much of a difference? I kinda feel like most stealth perks aren't worth the perk slot now.

I enjoyed messing around with that perk a lot but I noticed some time ago it seemed to not have any effect anymore so I stopped using it.
Turns out I wasn't just going crazy after all lol. I do hope they fix it then as I agree with others, this perk could be a lot of fun and combined with Iron Will you could get away with some really hilarious stuff

Why would I? when there are many unresolved bug reports about it? Just shows how incompetent BHVR is. It's been reported since May 2025, UNDER REVIEW. Patch 8.6.0. And there's NOT EVEN ONE FOLLOW UP ABOUT IT.

Right, though you can add to those threads, with your own data point of experiencing the bug, possibly adding additional content for review (or agreement on said content), which bumps the thread, sends it to the top of the recent posts (the likely filter which the PR team peruses), collating related discourse into a consolidated thread, under which a response from any support will be more pertinent than responding to a thread only mentioning the bug by reference.
