Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Survivor Thoughts on Singularity?

How do other survivors feel about playing against the Singularity. I personally don't find it too op, but I do find its play style pretty disengaging and static: pre throw pallet or get hit. The camera play style also heavily incentivizes camping similar to the og skull merchant (though no where near as abusable).

I'm also totally willing to admit that I generally suck against this killer so it could just be a skill issue on my part.

TLDR: I really don't enjoy playing against singularity because of how predictable and repetitive the chases are, but I want to know what everyone else thinks since I probably just suck against this killer.

not much fun unless you’re in a SWF. In solo queue nobody disables the cameras so he’s basically on your ass all the time and not much you can do. I’m thankful that almost nobody plays Singularity

I've barely ever gone against Singu, but the matches I did have against him were fairly enjoyable in my opinion. Although it's true that predropping is often the best counterplay, but I always enjoyed using the EMP's against him.

He's one of my favourite killers to go against

I won't mind getting chased by the walking TV from the new rift :D

I hate it tbh. He's a ticking time bomb just like Kaneki but I'd rather loop a kaneki. He has his cheese vaults but that's still more preferable to singus boring chase loop.

When one has fun against singu, it's usually because he's getting rolled by the map and or EMP usage.

He’s fun to loop if the singu is mid level but going against a singu that actually knows what they’re doing and has good area and camera control can feel miserable. He’s like clown and bubba in the fact where while you’re getting chased, all your teammates HAVE to be on generators because the map will run out of resources very quickly since you have to predrop against singu every time you’re slipstreamed. The auto-aim and basekit SFP made him far more easy to pick up and pub stomp. I’m 50/50 on it tbh.

A pure snooze fest most of the time. Most singularities just camp an area, so you have constantly run around the map to collect emps, get a tiny bit of progress, run away to get a new emp and repeat until someone is dead or the gen kick limit activates.

When marked Singu in overclock has,

    Gains Haste

    No Tp cooldowns

Gains spirit fury and immunity to stuns

Gains 60% pallet kick speed and vault speed

    Can cover any distance lost

If Singularity wasn't so technical he would have been Skullmerchant treatment no doubt
