Making the "The Casting of Frank Stone" just a skin is a HUGE mistake.
Why take a killer with a power concept, very cool visuals and a already written background and turn him into a skin for the Trapper? Why don't make a full chapter?
You guys are throwing your own work out of the window.
I can't believe i was the only one waiting for Frank Stone chapter.

Because the game wasn't as successful as they'd hoped it would be. Hence why they're currently giving it away for like £6.
It'd be a big waste of money to make a whole chapter based on a game that didn't sell well.

Yup, I was disappointed with that as well. I'm happy we are getting him in the game, but he has everything he needs for his own chapter

very weird as they stated themselves that Frank Stone will be a separate character from the Trapper.

Even if that's true, why does it matter? It could have nice content for the game. I've seen people sharing their eagerness to have Champion and Linda in the game several times and it's not like people get original chapters with real money anyway. Also couldn't have been more of a flop as the likes of Houndmaster and SM.

The game was so disappointing. The dev’s previous game, The Quarry, has SO MANY different plot branches, and the characters often split apart and had their own plot lines. Streamers were playing the game multiple times, to see the different plot branches.
Frank Stone had none of that. Streamers mostly just played it once, and then just completely abandoned the game.

Because they're a business. They need to make money if they want to keep the lights on. Making chapters based on content that underperformed is antithetical to that.

Lots of people pay real money for the original chapters. If they didn't then BHVR would go bankrupt lol.

yep that’s me, right here, raises hand. I think I’ve bought 1 survivor ever with shards. Everything else I’ve paid money for bc I can’t be bothered. I use all my shards on cosmetics, bp, or killer perks in the shrine.

When I started on PS4, I bought the chapters that had been already released all at once with actual money. The original chapters since are all shard purchases.
I did the same thing later when I bought the game on Nintendo Switch. God did that one bite me in the ass, all the chapters I bought with money are tied to the Switch exclusively. :(
But yeah, shards take a while to earn. A lot of people pay money for original chapters.

I was waiting for frank stone chapter since the game released, it was an incredible experience and I loved every second
