When you see 4 Davids in the lobby after this change.
You know they went through hell.

As a primarily solo queue surv, I have been wanting this for awhile. There are many perks that get significantly less value when your teammates don't know you're running them. Some like Deliverance and We'll Make It can get sabotaged when your teammates are outracing you to the hook, other perks like Camaraderie other survs won't even know you'll have until it's too late. Maybe Plot Twist enjoyers will finally be left alone by well-meaning teammates? (I won't hold my breath lol) I understand there will always be petty people who will leave at the sight of even one non-meta perk, but I believe that this change will be a buff to many under used perks for solo queue players.

maybe they are planning to add dodge countermeasures.

I totally get where people's concerns lie in being unable to use off meta builds. But I'll be so for real, I've run into so many teammates running iron will, urban evasion, lightweight, and left behind, that I really think the game will be better off. An extremely frustrating part of solo queue is not being able to choose who you play with. I think players should have some choice in that, even if they're playing solo queue. There's people who play off meta and there's people who play on meta, let them find each other and maybe everyone will have a more enjoyable game.

I doubt you'd get flak from that. Just don't run No Mither and you'll be fine

Or the opposite your not injured and 9 hook but your 3 teammates are death hook injured or dead. Imo bond users are 100x worst than distortion users. Solo q run bond and sprint burst in the more selfish of ways in my experience compare to distortion ones.

I hope there will be a function to show and hide. Similar to the Anonymus function, otherwise there will be endless lobby-dodging

It's not uncommon to be sandbagged for using Plot Twist (the worst is when they run to me in chase and point). I've also had survivors sandbag me or even grief me because they saw me playing the lute. Last week I had two matches where a survivor body blocked me for cleansing a totem. Not everyone's so judge-y, but unfortunately there are survivors who are going to dodge meme builds. The really bad thing is that BHVR will probably never change how backfill works, so a single lobby dodger can ruin the match.
As annoyed as I get at No Mither teammates who crouch around the outskirts all match (my friend still runs Empathy), I do feel bad any David going for their adept is going to have to last-second switch and hope no one notices.
