Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I'm dissapointed in behaviour that they decided to hire PJ Heywood.

For those of you that don't know back in 2020 PJ Heywood made tweets supporting NFTs and crypto and later made a racist, xenophobic tweet towards chinese people. He later made a apology, sort off, for how he worded the racist xenophobic tweet, but I personally do not like his apology at all and to me personally it came across like he thought he didn't say anything wrong, but he only apologized because people got mad. It read to me like he was apologizing for people being upset, not for sayign somethign racist and xenophobic and to me it felt like he only apologized for how he worded it when I personally think that it was racist and xenophobic, period. But again that's my own personal opinion.

The fnaf franchise hasn't brought him back and I think he was going to be replaced by a different va for William Afton in security breach before the lines got cut.

I'm very dissapointed and honestly quite upset that behaviour has decided to hire him for springtrap. Obviously I want people to change and grow, but I personally found PJ's apology to be really lackluster and he just deleted his twitter after and dissapeared of the internet so in my own personalopinion there's no indication that he has changed at all. The only thing that I'm seeing online is people, especially fnaf fans being happy that he's coming back and not talking about what he did at all. I don't know if Behaviour knows about this, but I find behaviour hiring him to be really irresponsible, dissapointing and upsetting.

Of course, I'm also upset they even decided to work with Scott Cawton in the first place when he donated to Trump and other right wing politicians, but that's a diffferent topic entirely. To me the fact they decided to work Scott Cawton and then also hire PJ Heywood again just amkes it very clear to me that they don't care and I personally, most likely, won't be buying the fnaf chapter.

I think if someone messes up and did horrible things in the past, and they apologize and try to turn a new leaf over going forward, we really need to accept the apology and let them move forward. 2020 was 5 years ago now. There is no such thing as double jeopardy in law, that's illegal, there should not be double jeopardy in the court of public opinion. How can people grow and change if we never give them the chance to fix it or make it up to those they hurt?

I'm having trouble finding anything about this. The only things that turn up are this very thread, and a reddit thread about him being recast.

nvm it's apparently on twitter, but i'm still having trouble finding info on this controversy.
