Orela Rose spoke to me in a trial. Bug or feature?
So you know how Survivors have voicelines that only the player playing the character hears?
For example, Nicholas Cage and Lara Croft talk quite a bit in a trial if you're playing as them. However, your teammates won't hear the words they say in the trial.
Well, I just played a match in 2v8 and I rescued Orella from the cage, healed her and then she said "Stupid hook" and I was wondering if anyone else experienced this?
I have rescued many Orella players this week but never has she (nor any other survivors) spoke to my character.
Wondering if this is intentional or a bug?

Feature. She's the first survivor that other survivors can hear.
Not sure if the killer can.

I hope it's a bug. Hearing other survivors that aren't mine is very distracting.

"Orela Rose Spoke to me in a trial." - CountOftheFog.
How did Nancy respond to her?

Same. I highly dislike her voicelines. I get that it is some celebrity who is voicing her and this is great I guess, but those are some of the most boring and annoying voicelines I have heard so far. And having to listen to them when other players are playing Orela… Thats really not it.

Yeah I agree, can we just not, please?

I mean, for me the Devs can add all the voicelines they want. They can make all Survivors talk to each other, might give a little bit of touch to their Lore (e.g. Sable, Mikaela and Orela know each other). But they should introduce an option to disable voicelines.
Like, I think that Orela is a cool character (and important for representation). But her voicelines ruin her for me and so I will probably never play her again after I brought her to P9. Which is a shame.

"Stupid hook"
"I guess I'm off the hook"
"I hope that hook isn't rusty"
..
I can't hear it anymore.. By now I'm always tempted to simply let her rot on hook - and that day ain't far away anymore.
I wish there was an option to simply turn off voice lines. I'm not interested in listening to any character talking.

probably an unpopular opinion but I like her voice lines. They make me laugh.

I personally really enjoy that i can hear Orela's voice lines from other players.

I love that other Survivors and Killers can hear her, best feature and one Ive asked for since the first speaking Survivor.

I was actually playing as Detective Tapp in that particular match.
On a separate note, I was thinking about you about an hour ago when I was playing as Nancy in 2v8...
A curious Huntress was walking around and made the mistake of walking through a pallet 💀💀💀

The one about the rusty hook always amuses me because of course a paramedic would be concerned with tetanus lol

Yep, this.
It's not fun listening to your character yap over and over again and not shutting up. Also, forget stealth with these characters. They will throw a "funny" remark and you get a knife in the face.

I really like that characters talk, and I wish I had the option to hear other survivors too, hearing Alan or Nicolas Cage yell as they enter chase nearby me would be hillarious.
I do think people who don't like them should also have an option to turn them off though.4 -
exactly, they’re kind of campy and punny. I like it. “Stupid hook” is how I feel sometimes, it’s validating 🤣

I hope they make it so you can hear all the other survivors when they talk, maybe just lower the frequency of some lines. Especially if there's multiple of the same survivor.
I could see it being annoying for killer to hear these people though, so maybe they shouldn't be able to, just fellow survivors. And I like the idea of having the feature being able to be turned on and off. Some people like it, some don't. Let the players choose to turn it off or leave it on.
Also, I want to hear more than just Orela. Who are the others? Nicolas, Lara, Alan, and now Geralt? I believe? (And hopefully Rick and Michonne coming up?)
