I agree very much with this and I think this is a pretty widespread sentiment at this point.
Edited to shorten to just say… Oni and Legion - absolute misery. Ruins the mode completely for me and I am sure many others too

oni himself isnt the issue id say its more legion enabling him. a good tip against oni would be too hug corners and just predrop pallets. since then the other 6 (if the other killer is also chasing someone) they can smash the 70 second gens

If Oni had some minor adjustments he could be tolerable, though I think the fact any killer is going to help feed him regardless. When Oni is in power almost the entire match in most matches, something is not right.
Legion needs to be deleted from 2v8 completely

They removed his skill expression by buffing his turn radius, only bad Oni players will miss their hits.

Not sure if I say worse but funny you say that, I faced Spirit and Legion several times today and they are a VERY annoying combo. Simply because Legion gets injures for free and being injured and noisy is not ideal against Spirit of course.
I can understand you saying this, I would not mind Oni so much but I feel he needs some adjustment as being in power constantly is absolutely insane.
Legion has to go though, some killers are just not suited to 2v8 in my opinion and Legion is definitely one.

Its okay, I am a bad Oni player too lol.
I did his achievements and never really touched him again but I also am someone who absolutely refuses to use extreme DPI settings etc just for flicks.

my teammate was absolutely carrying me yesterday while I played him. I’m on PlayStation and he’s supposed to be easier to play now but I got absolutely wrecked 😆

In 2v8 most of his work is done for him, especially combined with Legion as he has an endless supply of blood so he can pretty much remain in power then entire match.
Oni in normal matches isn't quite as easy as he looks but in 2v8 I feel he is completely broken as he currently is.

I have been enjoying him a lot. Maybe he is bit too fast. But I think buffs makes him more easier to play for console players which is good.

believe it or not. gf did like 8 2x8 matches this weekend. since i dont play killer.
She only plays legion, but she's kinda bad at killer, spins etc get her lol.
6 ghostfaces 1 oni and 1 spirit
the worst game was with a oni. Dude used his power like 4x during the match. With all survivors bleeding out. He would use his power and down maybe 1
best game was with spirit. She cleaned everyone 1 by 1, game ended with 4 gens left. no survivors alive.

legion needs a decrease in the duration of frenzy, maybe 25% decrease, maybe more. He's really powerfull in 2x8.

To be fair, I can confidently say I was very happy with DBD before July of 2019, back then I really had no complaints about it.
But back to the topic at hand, I think the complaints here are justified. Especially regarding Legion, this killer just kills the fun in 2v8.

Generalv I know your a decent person with how nice you are on this forum this was basically for everyone else.
Back to the topic there's nothing Devs could do without some major rework to legion as a whole to change how he plays to make him more fun. They could nerf him but devs haven't balanced anything in this game mode ever and I don't think there going to. I remember huntress was considered to op in this mode in the 1st and second iteration and people wanted her nerf but devs didn't do anything

2019 DBD was the GOAT for me, it was kinda broken and janky but that jank also gave it soul and it was so much fun.
I think they improved a lot, at the expense of a lot of that soul (I still miss the old Coldwind maps) but I do think some things would not work now in modern DBD… a long list I am sure many could add to.
I think 2v8 can be immense fun… but Legion man, just ruins it completely.
