3 gen is it a thing?
I raised this point before when I questioned why I was seeing deja vu over and over again.
I was told it was because of 3 gens being an issue.
Is it still an issue because in the last 2 nights I've played about 20 games as killer and of the 80 survivors at least 70-75% were running deja vu.
Other than windows I've never seen so many survivors running the same perk.
Is the perk an issue or is the map design the issue?
Just curious because I'm definitely in the category of you pay your money you play how you want with whatever perks you want.

You want to know why people are running it? The repair speed bonus. Unless you're new or your "team" has seriously misplayed, a 3-gen is almost never going to happen.

I think it's a mix of different things. The repair speed bonus is nice and it gives important information regarding gen positions. So the perk overall is quite useful. 3 gen scenarios also are a little bit hard to handle, when you can't coordinate with theammates, so solo or duo survivors have an extra reason to run with is.
On the other hand maps have been reduced in size, which also opened some opportunities for killers to defend three gens.
Though I don't think I would call it an issue.8 -
3 gen might not be viable ro run in the long extended term but the majority of teams will fall before it reaches that point when put up against a three gen. The perk assists in avoiding those 3 gen scenarios and it provides a nice speed boost to repairing any of those three gens highlighted. So as survivor there isnt a downside to this perk. It also means that in the majority of the game you will always be repairing a bit faster. Mix that with resilience and you can pump gens quite effectively

Just run Deja-Vu and take a look at the gens spawns. Theyre just that terrible.Sometimes even if you solve the first 3 gen, there is another 3 gen thats as worse as the first one. And yeah, if killers are smart enough to regocnize a proper 3 gen, this can become a big issue. And no, if the perk had just the repair speed bonus most people certainly would not use it anymore.

sometimes it's nice to delegate the mental load to a perk so you can concentrate on other areas, such as totems or the killer itself.

3 gens are still a huge part of the game. Can the killer just lock it down the entire game like they once did? No. But if the killer is given a strong 3 gen, a close game tilts heavily in the killer's favor at the end.

no the 3 gen strat got killed by 8 kick and anyone keeping track of gens can just split up gens to prevent a 3 gen

3gen happens for few reasons:
- killer making it as strategy and holding it( hag, trapper, singularity)
- Survivors jumping on the closest gens leaving 3 last gens clouse togeather creating 3 gen (the biggest reason from my experiences 3gen gets created)
