2V8 is a better game mode than usual 1v4

Fairly lukewarm take IMO. There's a lot of people who agree with this.
Personally, I don't. But this is a pretty common opinion.

no thanks, i really don't want a mode that has 0 strategizing requirements and is far more unbalanced than 1v4 to replace it.
If there was an choice between this and 2v8 never returning to the game, i would choose the latter.

I like 2v8 but as we learned in the last one, some killers (Legion and un-nerfed Oni) are not at all suited to 2v8 and the last thing I would want is to be ganked by a Knight and Artist together - absolutely miserable.
2v8 can be a lot of fun but killers should be very limited and I don't want it permanent as it completely ruins normal queues.
I also dislike the lack of MMR and the subtleties of chases are lost when you get double teamed by killers - this always feels bad to me (reminds me of versing Knight but worse).

Most licenses wont go into 2v8 until they give the ok. So there goes half the killers removed from the game. And most people go to 2v8 for the big bloodpoint incentive, gameplay however is quite tiring having to face wesker/legion/oni every single round all day long amd it can only get worse with more killers added

I'd be a lot happier with it just being very regular. I'd like there to be always a second queue, whether that is for 2vs8, My little Oni, the latest map, an even or even just to test stuff. But maybe alternate all these with either 2vs8 or Chaos Shuffle.

Playing 2v8 on survivor, feels like playing Fall Guys. It's fun for a few matches when you're wasted and hanging out with friends. But after a few matches, it loses it's charm. I could never play this mode long term.

It is fun for the times they bring it which will go on this way i guess.
But 2v8 could never replace 1v4. Game would die for real then.
And yes, some killer combis shouldn´t be in 2v8. Creates the most unfair situations.

Counter Hot take: We don't need to lose one for the other. Also, sincerely, what do you like more about 2v8? I have things I prefer about it myself, but what makes you say it's that much better?

1v4 Feels so boring after 2v8 is taken off of the game,it feels like something is missing idk how to explain.
2v8 feels more chaotic thats what i like about it the most, it is WAY more fun and killer feels less like you're running against time since you got a partner to kill with.
