Anyone else not a big fan of Chaos Shuffle
I just cannot get into this mode on either side. As killer, it's just insane gen rush with BNP/Styptics and map offerings.
As Survivor, it's killers who just camp and tunnel because they have garbage perks and can't stop the gens without some sort of slow down
I'm just gonna play for the reward and rift progress and not touch the mode once that's done

I don’t like it either. I played once during the very first event and never again since then. I have zero interest in this mode.

I don't mind it and hey, that still doesn't sound much different from regular mode 😂

Chaos Shuffle brings out the worst from both sides due to no perks. Majority of my matches today was against Ghoul players just hardcore tunneling after an unhook.

I like it in some ways as a survivor main, as it means extremely tedious full slowdown builds on S tier killers etc. On the negative side, it means tunnelling hard is on the menu for some, since chances of full anti tunnel builds are low too.
I like Chaos though, overall.

Yeah, I'm not into it, either. It just emphasizes how much I prefer having perks of my choosing.

Played afew matches of survivor, then played a killer match as Wraith. For the most part, it was pretty chill. Probably still not gonna continue after getting the challenges done, but it's not the stresser for me that it seems to be for other ppl.

You have to sacrifice 5 survivors to complete it. I think that's what is causing the hard tunnelling. People want to get it over with.
I wish bhvr would change it to hook 12 Survivors or something. It's my last chaos challenge, then back to regular matches.

Yeah, I just came to make a thread and ask what the purpose of this mode is? Nothing new but I played one game and lo and behold, a face camping clown that survivors simply couldn't resist feeding. Again, hardly a news flash.
1 -
You can't face camp anymore without the survivor unhooking in the killer's face
-5 -
Yes, you can get off the hook when being facecamped but against a clown, how far will you really get?
Just... don't go next.
Ah, as a fun bonus, play as huntress. They won't know you're there. Putting it there so folks can find their best game.

It'll be so much better once map offerings get nerfed.

...they brought this back again? let me guess, there's still no random items addons and offerings are disabled?
easy pass, marvel Rivals is more interesting right now with Ultron. wake me when purple guy arrives

Thanos?

It may be better once they remove tunneling and camping.
-1 -
While I do wish it was random items and add-ons with points offerings only I do enjoy it on killer since I often find new perks that work well with killers which I likely wouldn’t have tried myself.
-1 -
Yeah, out of all the modifiers this one is the worst, imo. I really don't like it, just want to get the challenges done with and return to regular queue.

SPRINGTRAP!!!! After watching Hens play fnaf I'm so hyped!
-2 -
Thought he was yellowish green, not purple

It was not appealing enough for me to play

It has it's perks, but it has just lost it's spark because bhvr brings it back so often. They've completely lost it. I honestly feel like this game would be better if they let us breathe. It's ok to have some dead space instead of just brining chaos shuffle back after a week of nothing.

I am just doing my challenges then I will be done. Although I like trying out new perks that I dont have. I got to try Object today. That was neat. I had no idea it gave you a slight repair action on gens.

Springtrap himself is in fnaf 3, but in 2 the prequel he debuts as Purple Guy, who was just an ordinary killer at the time. the "purple guy drawing" addon is a reference to himself.

Honestly this mode is just a hot spot for Bully Squads and yes it allows you to have 4 perks on new Killers but that's about it. I never found this mode fun
-2 -
As a survivor, it's nice because killers aren't usually going to end up with 4 regression perks. Killers are camping/tunneling the same amount as normal.
As a killer, it sucks because survivors often have 3 gens done before the first down unless you get lucky or you're playing a top tier killer and you usually have no regression at all.-1 -
I think the idea of chaos shuffle is great, it should favor survivor TBH but because of matchmaking and the horrible player base on average it's extremely unfun.

Lmao all others outsise of 2x8 are bad too hhhahahaha

The thing I dislike most is the fact that no mither exists in the mode. Killers don't have a comparable perk that completely sabotages them. I was lucky enough to get it in my first match yesterday and it was enough to make me immediately stop playing chaos shuffle after the match was over.

The same applies to 2v8 and Lights Out. These modifiers bring out the worst problems in the game.
2v8 is only attractive because you can play as a killer with a friend, everything else about it sucks, and it gets worse with every iteration.

Honestly, my friend, I really liked the first Lights Out. I think it was fun, even if my favorite killer wasn't available, and it was a return to the horror aspect DBD needs.
The second Lights Out was awful though.

Lights out has a heavy issue. Using candles tells the killer where you are. It's a terrible idea to even use them if you aren't focused on looping the killer.
Than you add in killers that are crazyyyyyyyy strong in the game mode.

I never played the first Lights Out, but the second one I did, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Hopefully, they bring the first version back so I can try that one out. Chaos Shuffle is just one I'm never touching, it doesn't even seem remotely enjoyable to me.

Yeah, overall the very concept of the Candelabra item was terrible. Not only did it completely defeat the whole point of the modifier, which was to be dark, but it also made you a target.
But the first Lights Out, which had no such thing? Perfect… Well, it would be perfect if Freddy had been available, but even without him that event was really fun, I loved it!
Honestly, my friend, I think the first one was better because there was no Candelabra, which I think should be the whole point of the modifier: being dark.
As dark as possible.

I used to not use the candelabras, or when I did, it was to get aggro or drop them in places as waypoints for everyone. I hope they do the Lights Out event more often. The only events I've seen are 2V8 or Chaos Shuffle since the last Lights Out, and I can't be bothered to play either of those events.

Same, my friend, same.
The only reason I play 2v8 is because of the massive BP bonus for survivors. And Chaos Shuffle isn't fun, at all.
2 -
It's not for everyone. I personally love it because it breaks up guaranteed gameplay. That being said, im glad it's not a permanent gamemode as alternative gamemodes usually cause queue time issues.
0 -
Its fun for a lil bit but itd be more enjoyable with randomized items and add ons. Offerings should be disabled too with the exception of BP offerings.
0 -
I agree with this. But think items should be disabled because this is just a hot spot for bullying Squads and uncountable playstyles that require you to use perks to counter it
2 -
Chaos Shuffle would be interesting if it added many other factors to the game as well per round so the gamemode was more dynamic.
