Let him get his anger out, he's kinda representing the mood of a lot of players currently lol
Jokes aside, he's right tho. Such a simple fix and we are waiting months for it.

Adapt 😱 but if your actually colorblind that sucks but eh you found the first survivor so you can find the rest without wallhacks.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE A STAND.

1/10 try harder
Nowhere was BBQ mentioned by the OP only fundamental aspects of the game.

Might sound rude, but if you really can not play the game because of a condition you have you might consider playing something else? Like how some people with epilepsy cannot play certain games either. We cannot completely balance a game around 1 condition which affects less than 1% of the playerbase. You can also consider getting a special screen filter, they exist for colorblind people too I'm sure.
The scratchmarks in Mount Ormond are just messy and get everywhere and nowhere, which makes it hard to sometimes trace a survivor down. Don't think that specifically has anything to do with color.

People are taking a stand, including me. There are more people enraged about this just as much as you and they're not even colorblind. Heres a Wishlist Forum that someone started a while ago. I bump it every now and then:
I know it may not help very much but many of us try to keep it relevant as much as possible to try and catch the eye of the Dev's.

Every killer knows that the aura on this map is ######### up and needs to be fixed. And colourblind people have it even harder on this map

To be perfectly clear, the scratch marks where always difficult to see on Ormond. The 2.6.1 patch supposedly fixed that issue, but it also introduced new lightings and graphics from the Unreal Engine update that actually made the overall visibility worse. Especially auras who are incredibly muted and meld into the background whiteness of the map.

Yes please join the thread. Sooner or later they must give attention to the matter. Join, tag the community managers and mods and let your concerns be heard too.
It's ridiculous considering they already have proven auras can be a different color. See: alert, aftercare, surveillance, discordance, kindred, blue hook auras during events, etc.

In all seriousness, i do wish i could see SOME attention be directed towards the colorblind.
Ever since i saw someone's post on being blind to red, i knew they had immense trouble as Killer that most can't experience.
Being able to set your own aura colors, is it REALLY that bad of an idea?
It wouldn't change intensity values, like how auras fade when you get closer.

That's not right at all, SOOOO many other games have different color options for colorblind players. It's an absolutely common issue and should totally be addressed. It has nothing to do with balancing the game, it's just an extra option for players who can't see certain colors. It won't affect the way they play the game mechanically or skill-wise.
And epilepsy is completely different!
And there's a weird issue on Mount Ormond going on for me (at least) (not colorblind, btw): the outlines of teammates that get hooked or downed are extremely pale/faded and are hard to see even if you're close to the player.

I'd agree with you if we were talking about some competitive esports game, but this is supposed to be a casual experience. There's no reason not to include ppl. Even League (which is btw competitive) has a colourblind filter.

Its crazy how the developers never saw that issue with Ormond before, and STILL REFUSE to fix it. A single, just a SINGLE testgame would have shown the problem. And how hard is it to fix it? I am no programmer, but its litterally just the colour of the aura or scratchmarks.

I only noticed Auras are harder too see from 2.6 patch.
You can still see them but wowie it's way too hard

Ormond has so many problems, I honestly wish they would just scrap the piece of crap map. The map designer clearly has too much free reign. The map is full of bad ideas that obviously were designed to fail if anybody was set in place to do quality assurance.
