The Ghoul… is it bugged or just OP?
so iv recently got back into DBD and im confused about this killer, is it meant to be able to hit you through walls and around corners? Also it seems like it has 0 cooldown once it usses its power and misses?(whereas Wesker has a momentary pause after using its power) This just seems crazy to me…😅

Yes, he can injure and deep wound you extremely easily but cannot down with his power.
He is very strong and you are pretty much done for in open areas

Ghoul isn't "missing". As said above he can't down you with his power, so once you're injured his power will be used to catch up, cancel the power and then hit you with a basic attack.

I think the game counts it as a hit basically as soon as you pressed attack, however it doesn't stop the survivor from moving until you're onto the survivor, so if he moves behind a wall in this time you're still hitting him but now behind a wall. This has it's limit as far as I saw, but it looks really weird a lot of the times.
You're not talking about his miss-cooldown but his cancel-cooldown, the canceling is fast on purpose. He can't down with his power, but he can cancel it and get faster m1 hits that way - he's basically a actually usable legion.

He's better Legion. How are you struggling against that?

He has only 2 seconds "fatigue" after using kagune leap + he can start this cooldown in the middle of traversing with a leap so it can be non existent

As it seems ghoul is fine since there have been no more nerfs within the last weeks can we finally give blight 10 basekit rushes.
I mean lets be honest, the seven with adren vial are really few. And while we are on it lets nerf the pig…-2 -
it's simply animation/ping desync and the game actually accounts for objects these days, meaning sometimes he'll land the grab but it won't actually damage you (but it'll still apply the mark).
…except it often plays out in the ghoul's favor when that happens since he gains full movement speed & control way faster. meaning if you're already injured he can potentially down you before you can reach anything whereas before the patch that changed collision stuff he would've been stuck in place doing the grab confirm animation while giving you a speed boost.
