What killers have you stopped playing?
For me it was Chucky. After they nerfed slice and dice speed he just feels lackluster. Even though they improved it slightly, it's not as fun as before. I almost feel like this killer was kinda butchered, i hope he gets some sort of a rework at some point.
What about you?

Singularity.
I swear I tried the best I could to learn this killer and do well with him, but I just can't. Everything I tried failed, and I tried everything.
I am just not fit to be a Singularity player :(

Understandable my brain gets fried playing that killer 😭

Been trying Chucky again lately. First time I have played him since before he got nerfed and they ######### him up. No more manual scamper(it needed to be changed but not like that), no more 180 flicks, slower slice and dice movement.
like he is still playable but so much of the skill expression is gone and you are left with basically just another generic m2 dash killer.Same thing they did to Skull Merchant. They gutted all the stuff that actually made her enjoyable and skillful to play and now she is just a generic place trap in loop to make the survivor leave the loop kind of character.
They really need to get their act together when it comes to killer balancing because that is not it.3 -
Morally obsolete Trapper
It's unpleasant to play Hag
It's unpleasant to play and Twins have bugs
Skull Merchant more because of the campaign to reduce the population of this killer.I can still play the other killers.
3 -
Artist. too high risk, very low reward
3 -
Trapper, because, well, we all know what problems he has.
I don't really have killers I stopped playing, but rather those I won't play at all. Among these is Trickster, Unknown and Blight.
1 -
Huntress. I just feel so slow playing her and missing a hatchet feels horrible. Used to main her for a long time but i just got frustrated.
-1 -
Tbh if you dont get indoor map like larrys and you dont have problem with orientation (or it doesnt make you sick) then he isnt that hard, if your opponent isnt some sweaty swf then he is pretty good killer in top 5 in game.

Just the weak ones that arent that good without addons like wraith, trapper, mayers, doctor (I like him but without range or discipline he sucks he is just bad in basekit for w+shift users without looping), hag (I dont enjoy her playstyle), twins (same as hag) and thats it. I play very little ghoustface( I like his playstyle but he is one of weakest killers and you can end up without power if survivors know how to counter you), artist ( she is strong but risky), then nurse and blight (they are super strong and when you play them consistently then they are brainless and sttrong as hell).

I don't play Nurse anymore because she's too difficult on console. It's hard to establish muscle memory IMO. Don't want to invest too much time.
I gave up on trying to play Singularity. I just don't find him fun. I actually prefer playing Hag.
I stopped trying with Xeno because it's not fun constantly being stunned out of your power. It's way more fun playing Nemesis and Pyramid Head.
My go tos these days are mostly M1s (Clown, Pig, Ghostface, Dredge, Skull Merchant), Nemesis, Blight, and Huntress.
-1 -
The Ghoul
It's because no one actually plays against him and I know he's gonna end up like the Skull Marchant where he will be changed to the point he will be unplayable so what's the point in playing the Killer.
3 -
i love Freddy and all but, i play him less and less. There is just something about him that still feels off compared to other licenced killers. Maybe the lack of voice lines.
1 -
Xenomorph, Chucky, Huntress
Xeno and Chucky just got shat on, and I find that 110 killers are barely worth playing anymore.
1 -
Nurse. She was fun once I learned her but I realized that my looping skills on other killer where getting rusty. She just doesn't loop so when I played her a lot I was losing my looping skills.
1 -
Saddly that seems to be what people want, less skill expresion, less techs and just one way yo use your power. Look at what they did yo oni too.
1 -
All of them. I quit the game years ago 😜
1 -
Honestly, same.
I didn't expect such a struggle when trying to learn him, seems like nothing ever worked.
0 -
Oni since they increased his turn rate. Way too fast now.
1 -
Oni
The guy was apart of my regular rotation in the earlier days, but since they removed that banger of a chase theme it just hasnt been the same
0 -
You have rotations?
I just play Freddy 99% of the time, then I play one or two others a little bit before going back to Freddy.

SM and Knight.
Both of them got absolutely gutted. SM in very obvious ways.
I don't understand how anyone who actually plays Knight enjoys his rework. He sucks at everything. His macro pressure is nonexistent because guards never get hits, even when you snipe someone from across the map with Assassin. It just pushes that one survivor off of a gen for a few seconds until the standard spawns.
His anti-loop has been absolutely murdered. You can't spawn close range guards, and even if you could, you can't use pincer attacks to score hits because of how quickly the guard disappears when you're next to them. Even using the Carnifex to break pallets isn't really that good because of how wonky and unintuitive it is summoning him to break a pallet. If the game even lets you. Sometimes it's just like… nope. You can't summon a guard here.
4 -
None really because Myers has always been my main and he's never lost his charm for me. Quite the opposite I am enjoying him even more since the buffs he got back at Christmas.
1 -
Idk if rotation is the best word, rather like "group". Over the years Ive always had a few killers which I played more often than others, and its shifted over the years. Trapper and Trickster though have stayed in that group of killers very consistently over the years

I think the Knight's rework failed because there was an indecisiveness regarding whether or not the Knight was meant to work alongside his guards.
It is simple, really: if the Knight is meant to work separately from his guards, then they have to be a threat, all three of them. They need to get hits consistently, and might as well get rid of the banner.
But, if the Knight is meant to work alongside his guards, then the banner can stay and they don't need to be as threatening, because the killer is meant to be close.
Seems to me they wanted the Knight to not work alongside his guards, but they didn't make the guards enough of a threat in order for that to be viable.
I see. Fair enough, friend!
-1 -
Exactly. I've seen people (mostly survivors) praising this rework, but as a former Knight enjoyer, he feels kind of powerless.
1 -
Even though they improved it slightly, no more free hits is not as fun as before
-1 -
All of them, apparently.
-2 -
It's not about free hits, i can still land the ability frequently, the problem is it effectively has a shorter range. It also doesn't feel like a surprise attack anymore, more like a tactical manoeuvre. Competitively, he feels hard limited by his cooldown, which gets boring.

I don't play Chucky (or rather Tiffany) as much as I used to, but that's just because I'm enjoying Myers alot more these days. Tried him for the first time since his update a few weeks ago and he feels so much better now.
2 -
My friend stopped playing Chucky after BHVR first started messing with him, which really sucks because Chucky was the one and only killer he ever liked playing. He does not play killer at all, now.
I've stopped playing every killer except Nemesis. Most killers feel awful on console. I stopped playing Spirit when she lost collision during her phase. I stopped trying to learn Nurse when she gained a cooldown. Killers with complicated powers feel extremely clunky on console due to the button mapping, sensitivity, and input lag, so Vecna for instance is miserable. Some killers I don't play because their Deviousness BP gains are so bad. Like Kaneki? He seemed like he might be fun when I played him a bit, but holy hell his Deviousness earnings are nearly nonexistent. I could earn more BP spamming Legion's Feral Frenzy staring at a wall than I did playing Kaneki for real, using his power nonstop and getting a 4k. Ending a match with a BP category super low makes me feel like I failed and completely discourages me from using the killer.
Anyway, I've played killer less and less over time, in large part due to perk changes (first it was BBQ, then it was Beast of Prey and Distressing). At this point I play a few rounds here and there working on quests and that's about it. I'm not even going to bother trying to finish the killer milestone quests. Quests aren't like the tome challenges, quests are ephemeral, so I do not care.

As someone who plays on PC with a controller, my friend, I feel that.
Never got used to playing games with M&K, I really dislike it. So, controller it is. And that really teaches you how some killers just aren't made for it.

Chucky. I'm still going to play him some, but his nerf was way too harsh. He was a borderline S-tier killer after release, but his first nerf or two left him in a good spot. Low A-tier if you ask me, C-tier if you ask the Japanese. Now he's definitely in C-tier. Hope he receives buffs that put him back into a better place, but I'll probably still pick him up eventually just because he's Chucky.
Sadako. Just haven't taken the time to learn how to use her newest rework effectively. Sadako players I've played against recently can manage to be incredibly oppressive somehow, but on paper, she's just bad. I used to spend a lot of time arguing that her O.G. incarnation was actually good, though, so maybe I need to investigate this further.
Skull Merchant. But the only reason I played her in the first place was because she was so busted for a while. (Honestly, she was S-tier, and if DBD tier lists had any objectivity or credibility, she would've been after Blight for a while.) I don't mourn her, though, because she absolutely needed to be changed.

not really stopped but my playrate on Oni has significantly dropped now when i started learning Billy since he now feels not nearly as satisfying as he used to be prior to Kaneki PTB.
1 -
I am glad to read this seems to have made Chucky less popular tbh, I absolutely hate this killer and I am sure I am not alone in that.
Either way, what killer do I play less now? ALL of them lol, I pretty much stopped playing killer altogether as is stresses me out so I figured why do it if I don't really have fun?
But if I do play I still prefer the older killers and while I did 100% this game at one point, I stopped playing the over complicated killers that feel like work to play
-3 -
Sadako. Mainly because my playstyle with her that revolved around the survivors ignoring the tv’s, which gave me on-demand map mobility. Said playstyle got gutted, so I lost my main for a while.
Then Unknown went and did that exact same thing, but even better. So I gravitated towards him.

Clearly Chucky, since he lost the manual scamper, he no longer offers anything interesting. It's comical that a gameplay based on spamming Slice and Dice was called a better “skill expression”. Obviously that was nerfed and now we have a dull killer.
Otherwise I play all the other killers. But I have to say that each time I choose both Singularity or Xenomorph make me want stop playing them. Each time an EMP or a turret ruins a chase, it's one of the most annoying feelings this game has to offer.

try using a hex build so they can’t cleanse them hex devour hope

Every killer except legionI think I have an addiction 😭
0 -
Skull Merchant since she has been essentially kill switched.
1 -
I used to play ghostface and myers quite a bit from 2019-2021 now they are so weak they are just unpleasant to play for me
1 -
believe it or not it wasn't the knight rework that killed him for me, it was the hemorrhage changes. hemorrhage died for boring mangles sins.
but the ghoul is hot buns to play now. I don't want to even bother with his lame unfun techs so I guess I'm just unqualified to play this killer. my Legion games have been way more fun.
-1 -
Chucky- bad changes
Trickster-bad changes
Trapper- self explanatory
Hag- feels bad to play
Deathslinger-bring back quick scoping plz
Skull Merchant- intentionally murdered by BHVR
Pyramid Head- add ons very underwhelming.

Really speaks volumes when most of the comments says Chucky

Oooo fun!
Killers I do not play, even on losing a bet or in some other mental state of bad decision-making:
Hillbilly
Nurse
Cannibal
Spirit
Oni
Blight
Artist
Onryo
Good Guy
Lich
Houndmaster
GhoulI simply find the above utterly unplayable and I do not enjoy their mechanics. That said, absent using their powers, they are all killers and can be equipped with perks that can make a clean sweep of the map and all survivors.
Killers I play extremely rarely, usually for a challenge:
Trapper
Hag
Nightmare
Plague
Demogorgon
Twins
Trickster
Nemesis
Cenobite
Skull Merchant
Singularity
Unknown
Dark Lord
For my choice of gameplay, these killers have powers that are either uninteresting to use or simply take to long to use well in the game.
In all the above cases I am not going into a blow by blow of what I dislike about these killer characters, it's just me and I do not enjoy playing them. I have niche builds for some killers like Doctor or Dredge, the effectiveness of which are … hit or miss and sometimes just for giggles. All the giggles.1
