Dead by daylight mysteries Your knowledge counts
Please write only one thing at a time so that as many people as possible can take part:
If you use a Cutcoin as an offering as Xeno, not only do 2 chests disappear, but 2 more teleportation points also appear.

If you blind Legion while their power is active, the frenzy will end immediatly, without going through fatigue, which means they can immediatly deliver a normal basic attack and potentially down you.
One thing tho, doesn't that only creates more possible spawn points of stations near gens? I'm pretty sure the number of stations doesn't change if the number of chests is changed, only their placement changes.

If the devs decide to reimplement Firecrackers, they wouldn't even need to create new add-ons.
The remnants of old unused add-ons are still in the game files, with actual values and numbers.

Trickster has a sort of hidden mechanic called Combos. The more blades he hits consecutively the better the combo and the longer Main Event lasts.
His Lullaby is also a bit unique in the sense that its sort of like a ring. Its from 8-40m but the loudest part of it is more in the middle rather than when he's right up next to you. With this in mind he actually works surprisingly well with Undetectable perks since the Lullaby will eventually completely fade away as he sneaks up to a survivor.

Huntress's power is secretly entity enhanced. The entity's power is affecting the "hatchets". This is to disguise the fact that Huntress is ACTUALLY chucking refrigerators at you, which is why such a burly woman can't help but to grunt with every throw.

Everyone knows Myers vaults windows faster in tier 3, but many people don't know he vaults windows slightly faster than normal in tier 2.

With Freddy's original power, there was a neat little trick to find awake survivors that not many people knew.
Let me explain:
This image is cropped to make it easier to explain. You see this orange dot, in the middle? Well, that is basically a crosshair Freddy used to have. And it is what you used to pull survivors into the Dream World.
Obviously you needed line of sight to pull a survivor into the dream… or did you?
Well, you did, but if there was an obstacle standing in your way and the survivor was close to the obstacle, that orange crosshair would lock on to the obstacle, telling you that someone was there.
Let's say a survivor is hiding behind that rock on the left. If you moved it over the rock, the crosshair would lock on to the rock because it was trying to pull that survivor into the Dream, but it couldn't because the rock is in the way. If you couldn't find someone, a general sweep of the area while using your power was generally enough.
Unfortunately most players never knew about this feature.

Perks like 'We'll Make It' and 'Teamwork: Power of Two' state explicitly that 'this effect does not stack.' What that actually means is that the perk effect doesn't stack with itself (like if you got two quick unhooks with WMI or two quick heals with PoT), but they absolutely stack with other perks.

Wow, I didn't know that. Great and thanks for this tip

During the first few weeks of the game's life, a very specific set of perks and add-ons would actually let you heal yourself faster than the killer's hit wipe animation would complete, effectively making your immortal until the killer gives up (or your medkit ran out of charges).
I don't remember the specifics, but it was partly due to We'll Make It applying to self-healing as well as teammate healing.

Wait - so she’s not actually throwing them? xD
I’m confused. Blond moment for me here 🤣

Sadakos 📺 TV’s work similar to the perk “Whispers”
If the tv starts playing the cursed video tape, it means a survivor is within 16 meters of it and you can usually find them.

Dredge has a seldom used mechanic where if your power is not on cooldown you can actually walk into a locker manually by pressing the active ability button outside a locker (without using the Remnant to teleport); you then still have 3 teleports left starting from that locker. While this isn't very useful most of the time since you can just directly teleport to where you want to go instead and you still have to wait on the power cooldown either way, there are limited circumstances where you could use this if you want to bait out a survivor for example.
You can actually sort of counter this if you have Deception. If you run past a locker that the Dredge is currently sitting inside of, then instead of a "Feint" prompt that Deception normally uses, it will still say "Hide", which is a dead giveaway that he's in there.

This tip is very helpful thanks. Is there also something for survivors? Because I play them more
