WHYYYYY?????
Yall literally JUST buffed these last major update to be useful and viable on their own and now you’re already nerfing them??? Even after the buffs I barely see these perks in game any more than before they got buffed. This is why we can’t have a “meta shakeup” because yall nerf every recently buffed perk that comes to the game.

First time?

Confuses me because Babysitter and Unbound were positively approved by the community, and batteries was never really a problem.
19 -
I agree, these three nerfs seem mighty questionable.
6 -
i swear its like the number 10 is killing them…
8 -
The only nerf I thought was right was the Babysitter one, because it was really stupid for the survivor to run faster than the killer for a whole 30 seconds.
-7 -
just don’t go after the unhooked survivor
21 -
Since you usually have another target nearby when an Unhook happens and you are right there, this is no issue.
@Topic:
Agreed. I dont think that any of the Perks were problematic. I disliked Batteries Included, because I think that Endgame-Builds are boring, but this does not mean that the Perk was too good, just personal preference.

It's the same logic as "don't want to be slugged? then don't sabotage my hook or make flashlight saves".Tunnel is part of the game, if you don't like it, don't play it. But now putting a broken perk that the killer has no chance of catching the survivor because he had to tunnel is not right.

tbf to babysitter it was strong before the buff it's just that no one used it
0 -
It's hardly the same, the answer to your solution is right there with baby sitter, you have another survivor to hit lol
7 -
Devs sipping the out-of-touch juice again
7 -
Agree these changes are questionable.
3 -
I mean, an issue is it was basically impossible to go after other survivor, if they wanted to bodyblock. You can't run around someone faster than you… (by a lot)
-2 -
so I guess not being able to tunnel off hook WAS too OP...
the state of dbd it seems.
2 -
You never HAVE to tunnel. Just go for the unhooker since they don't have a speedboost lol
4 -
To say that, you clearly don't play killer. There are situations where you must tunnel if you want to win the match, because playing as a killer is a race against time, because generators are fast and you need to get downs as quickly as possible. But sometimes this is not possible depending on the map you are on and especially the killer, so tunneling is often necessary.
-4 -
These are still good on their own.
-2 -
I play plenty of killer. Going for the unhooker has always been more consistent. If they have BT? You lose time. If they have OTR? You lose time? If they have Babysitter? You lose time. If they have DS? You lose time and then make a forum post about second chance perks

It depends on several factors, the killer you are, the area you hooked the survivor in, and the advantageous or not advantageous situation you are currently in the match. However, most of the time tunneling is the best choice, especially if you are in the early game. The game is unfortunately like this, tunneling is the most effective strategy to win a match.

I honestly don't blame thr devs I blame survivors who can't learn the game and will refuse to learn the game but will nerf everything that Killers have just so they don't have to learn the Killer or playstyles. Once a Killer gets the buff they need Survivors want it nerfed. Oh your Killer is being nerfed to the ground let's have him nerfed even more so he's unplayable to no one plays them. Do you have a build you like to bad it's annoying so let's nerf it even I'd it's not hard to counter. This is why There's no perk or killer verity and why most s tier killers are spammed every match
-1 -
That was the whole point. It was to encourage you to go for the unhooker.

Well on another post i think a community manager or dev replied and said it was because batteries included specifically had become "oppressive" idk wth they mean by oppressive seeing as literally no one using the perk… so who knows. More baffling balance choices that make zero sense.
