Springtrap is busted
This killer is OP it's not even funny. It's not just because he's only just come out, trying to avoid the hatchet at times feels impossible & 9/10 once you're hit with it, within the next second of chase you'll be grabbed or smacked to the floor. He's got an instant two tap is what it has felt like every single game for 8 games so far against this killer. It's not just me either, teammates as well. They may dodge one hatchet but they get hit soon after by the next one & just get grabbed. He's OP, we've gone from Kaneki straight to this. It's disgusting, I guess survivors just aren't meant to have fun or rather have a chance at all.

Not trying to downplay your experience so far, but give it more than a few hours before talking about how op he is. I've escaped with 3 out 6 of 8 games so far.

Aaand here we go.
The grab range is about as big as a Tombstone range, which is not that big.
The hatchet is a thing to learn for both sides. It doesn't allow the safety of crouching behind a loop like Huntress, but in a medium or long range it is harmless.
i highly recommend you to play more and maybe you'll get a grip on how to face him.
(BTW, a little funny interaction, extra chests make his doors spawn in less convenient places, if it didn't get changed yet)

the killers been out 2 hours, I'd be surprised if you knew how to dodge hatchets with 100% accuracy.
give yourself time to learn, man

I agree with you being hit by the hatchet and downed or grabbed instantly. I unhooked a survivor in the corner of the building on the backside of main, got hit with the hatchet, ran straight inside the door that feels like 6 or 7 feet away and immediately got grabbed after round the door frame. I haven't escaped yet, and I'd consider myself good at the game. Unless you're running a swf, I don't see may escapes with him.

Killer is out for less than a day:
Survivors:He killed me?! Screw learning how to play against him; He's clearly OP! I should be getting 4-man escapes against every killer, regardless if I know how to play around their power or not! 🙃

Yep, it’s new killer release day alright

All these comments yet no one is actually listening, it's not just ME it's happening to teammates, many of whom are likely better at looping than me they MAY dodge one hatchet but once it hits they get two tapped EASILY! The rest of the powers are fine, the killer has a few janky problems but that's no different to Twins etc. I mean specifically the hatchet grab, if thrown at you if it sticks you don't have time unless you're on top of a pallet to get anywhere without being slapped or grabbed. It's too quick & WAY too strong. It's not a Myers grab, he can use add-ons to increase his speed in those instances, we're not even talking about perk bonuses. I'm aware he needs time to be learnt, but that is a massive part of his power that is OP basically cannot be avoided unless in the circumstances I mentioned. All new things should have a learning curve but as I tried to say you can dodge a hatchet sure but once hit by it you may as well give up. That element of it is too strong.

All this btw without mentioning the fact that the hatchet was embedded stops you from interacting with anything other than the axe in your back. It's too strong & absolutely can be hit too easily. That's why that specifically is OP with this killer.

Because of this type of people, the skull merchant was nerfed...
Dude, please learn how to play before complaining about a killer who came out 4 hours ago...
