Why is the Stat Tracker blatantly lying on when it started tracking stats?
The stats claim that they are tracked from September 2020 onwards. Which is blatantly and patently false. It somehow claims that, despite my hour count being 3,600+ hours that I only have 1,100 ingame, I've only played my most played killer for less than forty, and I have somehow ten times that amount on Survivor, among other bizarreness.

It only counts time actually in a match, not lobby time or time spending bp

Seems pretty accurate to me. At least with player pick rates and fav perks.

The platform you're playing on keeps track of the entire time the application is running. BHVR's stats only show time spent in trials, so that doesn't include time spent waiting for a lobby, spending BP, browsing the store, selecting challenges, reading lore, etc..
It also doesn't count time spent in special game modes, like 2v8, as of right now.

It has afew issues…

I understand that, but I don't think as a Killer main that in the six years I've been playing, I've only put 37 hours into my main, in contrast to 330 as my main survivor.

imagine discovering that my main is freddy and my most used perk is bbq when it isnt lol. I prefer to track my games on nightlight and bhvr should have made a collab with them tbf it would be less work and more precision. I would recommend to do the same if you want really accurate statistics because it accounts for cheaters, people going next and such…

mine just doesn't update, I've been on 75 matches played for the last 30 days ever since they came out

The time my platform gives is a third longer than my actual in-game time from the stats page and I believe that. A lot of time is spent in lobbies and menus, especially for killer. I can also play double the survivor matches in the same amount of time because I don't spend half of it waiting for a match.

Yeah, the stat sight still has quite a few kinks to work out before it's actually worth using.
