Let's discuss the "go next" changes real quick
I mean. It's a double edged sword right? I see it from both perspectives. Perspective 1, it ruins the game or at least hinders the game for the others. Adds bots, people abuse it for silly reasons etc...
However, Perspective 2. It helps those that actually want to play "go next".
Many matches tonight I feel like I was forced to wait out first hooks knowing I won't be saved for 2 noobs or silly players who won't play the game right or at all... I'm torn with this. I hate people that abuse it, but to flat out take it away and force us to stay in matches thst are obviously a bust. It hurts man ngl... what's yalls thoughts? Should we be forced to stay in matches? Does this help? Should I just shut up? Lol

I've only played two games. In my second game someone immediately DC'd after being the first down. Then another person ran to the killer and gave up. Then I was forced to play out ten minutes of a game I had no chance to win. I did not have a good time.

Well, I've had survivors who, because they couldn't go next, throw themselves at the killer constantly and thus body block me during a chase. Actively making matches worse by still being in them.
I liked it better when the the survivor was just gone.

This is my biggest fear regarding the go-next prevention. Trolling or sandbagging teammates upset me way more than anything any Killer would do.

Had 3 games where the killer tunneled everyone. I just wanted OUT of that game. So I just stood there. Tired of being tunneled. Got a warning. I did NOT care. Nothing will force me to play a game like that. The devs need to get it through their heads, you will never be able to force anyone to play a game. Get to the bottom of why survivors are doing it instead. Penalize tunneling more. At 5 gens, it's just being a horrible player to do that means you have no skill and or want to purposely ruin other's game. Its one reason I stopped playing like I used to and now rarely play. So has my whole group I used to play with. When I do play, I play killer more and have been a killer main for 3 years now and it's so easy.

If you wanted to leave why didn't you get tunneled? Why'd you have to afk lol

The best "go next" prevention should've been addressing reasons people don't get to play the game.
So basically, the "anti slug", "anti camp", and "anti tunnel" needed to come first.
It's infuriating that they not only did these phases out of order, but really, really listened to and leaned into the "punish them" mentality here.

I hate it. I've been griefed on a few occasions while I was streaming. In those instances I had to dc because they kept picking me up and putting me down. Wouldn't let me bleed out or hook. But also wouldn't let me finish the game. Just generally being toxic. This is a perfect example of me wanting to go next so to speak. From what I've seen thus far teammates just give up, run to the killer, don't participate, throw pallets on purpose, etc.. I'd rather them DC and have a bot replace them. The bots have been more reliable than some teammates. When it was down to one teammate and myself I'd usually give up on hook if there was no chance of us finishing gens so they could maybe find the hatch. I was just starting to get back into DBD with chaos shuffle but now, I don't know. The idleness changes and DC penalties are really making me reconsider coming back to play this regularly.
