A little sad that we're getting a paragraph instead of a chapter with Ash
Yeah I'm a little sad because we're just going to be getting what amounts to Bill. Don't get me wrong I'm going to buy and play the hell out of this. Primarily because I really love ash from Evil Dead but I really wish they would have giving him a killer. There's way too many and his franchise to choose from...
I don't know maybe I'm overthinking this what do you all think?
Edit: I think some of you misread the fact that I said I was going to buy this.

But they just released a new killer. The fact that they release a new survivor so soon after a chapter came out already amazes me. I think we should be grateful, after all, since we've been given a whole new chapter recently they were not forced to even give us a chapter that only contains a survivor.

That's the thing I am very grateful I just wish they would have honestly announced Ash but waited a bit so we can get a new killer along with him. That's pretty much the thing. Don't get me wrong I'm grateful just a little sad.

@Countfunkular So if someone gave you a cake every 3 or 4 months, but one day surprises you with a cupcake shortly after having given you a cake, you'd be sad that it wasn't another cake?
Do you see how that comes off as greedy and ungreatful?

But if all those cakes are vanilla, and their favorite is chocolate, and only get a cupcake of chocolate, it's less disappointment and more of a wanting of your favorite.
I think they're saying they just love the franchise so much it sucks this is all well get, but they're glad we get ash.
At least that's how I am about it.

A lot more goes into a killer than survivor, If they made a killer too they may have just waited and released it as an ordinary chapter.
Survivors are just Different human models and 3 perks, with a Survivor you only have to worry about the impact of the perks since you know already that the survivor themselves will have no problem in the game due to the others being the exact same. Perks aside a survivor could be made and game ready in a couple of days.
With a killer it takes a lot more They've got more intricate designs, their powers alone would probably take a huge amount of time to make, balance and test on each map.

Okay I was trying to be happy about this and grateful but now I'm a little irritated.
I think you misunderstand what I'm trying to say. I am grateful I just wish it would have been a chapter. Is there something wrong with me hoping because I'm getting a sick feeling that there's something wrong with me hoping.
As for the cake metaphor and the phone.
You lost me a little bit I see what you're going for but I think you took what I was trying to say the wrong way.
This is motherfuking Evil Dead. I grew up watching the movies. I watch the TV show. Hell I have a few shirts. I'm beyond ######### grateful I just wish it would have just been a full chapter. I'll say it again is there something wrong with me hoping... because if there is then that's not groovy whatsoever

I'd have loved to see Evil Ash as his killer. It would've been great to have an actual copy-cat killer in the game. But hey, can't complain, new content.

Thank you someone finally gets it. Thank you for not calling me ungrateful when I'm very clearly grateful at the fact that we get ash from the Evil Dead franchise. I just wanted a cool villain the go of one of the best horror movie icons.

Im pissed off. There are countless issues in the game, both bug and balance issues.
What do the devs do? Hey lets throw out another chapter, subsituting the nerfed DS not even after a month.

Yeah I know. Still would have been interesting but it is what it is. But it would be hilarious to see one of the killers from the TV show in the game

However you forget that we have to pay for these cakes plus the cupcake. You said that they "give" us the cake and the cupcake.
This ain't free. That's what you forgot to mention. Not to mention the fact that I said I was going to by Ash regardless.

I'm not complaining, this is the main reason I'm going to be playing the game again. I'd rather get it sooner with no killer (we just got one in all fairness) than have to wait until summer or whenever to get it with a killer.
