Is the axe m1 combo a planned thing or an oversight?
What i mean is that the animatronic in a straight line scenario after hitting a survivor with the axe gains way more distance than huntress, i wanted to know if it is an oversight side effect of him actually becoming 115 without the axe, or if the devs actually intended for him to get that bonification of hitting the power to make it easir for the following m1 or grab.
If you do the axe m1 side by side with huntress you will actually see him getting up to the surv way earlier, idk if they just stamped the basic speed boost after hitting without thinking or if it will get "fixed" by giving more speed time after the power land.

Its an intended mechanic, bc if he woudnt be able to catch up to survivors, it would be impossible to grab a survivor.

i wouldnt say impossible but it would be pretty hard into a point that its more of a gimmick than something usefull. Since he covers more ground than huntress i see a lot of haste perks on him turning into a grab machine, kinda like when huntress had good haste addons after landing hatchets

His axe also functions as a homing missile sometimes, ignoring all objects 😂

I mean if he wouldn't turn into a 4.6 killer basekit(or have anyway of catching up basekit) when the axe is in a survivor, the survivors could just take the axe out before he can catch up, meaning the whole "grab" system would be useless, MEANING his whole identity as a "grab" style killer would just vanish, and at that point just rework him.

Huntress can throw another hatchet almost instantly. Springtrap has to wait 8 seconds or something before he can reclaim the axe and throw it.

Back in my day killer's had to chase survivors 😂

remember when we had 3 sec ds? it feels like that in terms of distance, if you get axed and he has a slight haste you cant do much if you dont have a window or pallet right between you.

Axe grabs would be impossible if they changed that they would have to buff axe take out times to compensate that
