Should Players get Bloodpoints for staying in tough matches.

Define tough matches. And I dont even know how players can actually get out of tough matches? I always thought that the BPs you get when a Survivor DCs are a bit low, but I dont think this is something which really needs changing with DC-Penalties and Go Next-Prevention.

Yes.

I was meaning like ur in a Losing match that's with more experienced players and you stuck threw the match until the very end regardless of winning or losing.
I think new and Older players should be rewarded for at least being in a match. There's times I barely get any Bloodpoints because I was rather not doing very well which ended the match in a minute.
Players who stay in the match should reserve some bloods unless they DC (Abandon will still count ad staying)

It already happens.
If you stay in a tough match you trigger more score events and get more BPs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not really. I've had matches where I reserved only 20,000 blood point regardless if I win or lose. What match rewards should do is that ur points isn't the only amount of Bloodpoints you earn but just Qing into a match basically. The reward should be like a Basekit Bloodpoints Bonus

I mean, I would not mind to have a Bonus for Survivor depending on how long you survived. So I dont know, the first Survivor dead gets nothing, second gets 5k BPs Bonus, third gets 10k BPs bonus and the last one gets 20k BPs bonus or so. Would encourage to stay in the game as long as possible, but I dont think that BPs would be enough to trigger rat behavior.
Would not work for the Killer tho, since they are always in the game until the end.

Killer is the 5th player, gets 40k BPs obviously.../s

If the SBMM system worked then the match should be tough. It shouldn't be a cake walk for either side. If you are asking to be rewarded for not giving up then the answer is no. To reward for that is to imply we accept players giving up as normal and those that continue on as exceptional. No, continuing on even when losing is baseline expectation. You are rewarded for overcoming hardship not enduring it.

While that's definitely true (and probably most relevant to what it seems OP meant), I think there's also situations where encouraging people to stick it out is potentially appropriate.
For instance, if you got some extra BP for being camped (defined as the bar filling up past say 25%), whether you'd agree or disagree with that specific situation, I think it's fair to say that is sticking out a difficult match above the baseline expectation.
Same with, say, someone DCing early. That's a more difficult match, in a very annoying way, and encouraging people to stick it out with an extra reward is at least worth discussion.
I'm not sure where I'd fall on that myself, for the record, but I see where the conversation could be had.

As survivor is a team based role, a few BP per objective to all survivors could be acceptable.
The only issue I see are the Claudettes hiding all match and getting rewarded.
DC penalty is another one I can see for all remaining but it shouldn't count with abandon or with SWFs.

Just a quick note, there actually is a score event for every player in the match if someone DCes.

There is? I genuinely didn't know that.
You see my overall point regardless though, I hope.

as a killer or survivor? can you elaborate more?

What are those Cheater score events for out of curiosity??

It says they arnt used. Im guessing all this info was gained by data mining.

Well, from data we can definetly get average progression of the game for each killer. Basically expected number of hooks / sacrificed survivors for current gen progression.
So you could basically track if one side went way ahead expected outcome and simply give other side bonus % to everything they do. In most cases it would increase BP for survivors, which is good imo, because they are way behind average BP gain of killers.0 -
I wonder what happened to the 'consecutive match' bonus thing that was supposed to be coming with the go next prevention system.
I think I saw Mandy or someone describing it as you get some kind of BP multiplier the more matches you stay in and complete. Something like that

would very much disagree with this.
mostly because it would discourage people from playing autruistically. "They die means I get more bps."
and you already get more points from surviving longer, because you get to do more stuff.

I didn't even think about THAT approach. If you gave bonus BPS depending on the order of deaths, ppl could make it their entire strategy to sandbags their team, lol.

I suppose there could be a general BP reward at the end of a match beyond what was earned in the trial. It would mitigate the sting of getting tunneled out early for survivors and for killers if they ended up getting rolled.

I think they were specifically referring to the times a match is very clearly unbalanced. Sadly a truly good back and forth match with reasonably even opponents is pretty rare.
