Kaneki perk interaction

I main Kaneki and use the perk 'Genetic Limits' frequently. Perk states survivor is inflicted with Exhausted after losing a health state which is obvious with M1 attacks. I was just curious if this included the 'free hit' Kaneki gets with the grab attack that applies Deep Wounds. I'm pretty sure it does but if anyone can confirm this for me it would be really helpful, thanks.

    The perk description says when a survivor loses a health state 'by any means'

    So, yeah it should work. I use it on Legion and it works.

    Yeah it works. Very effective on Kaneki.

    It will work but only if the survivor was healthy. If they were already injured and you put them into deep wound that will not count
