On the console, it takes 10 minutes to load the killer, but only a minute to load the survivors. Why is this happening?

If there's not enough survivors available to be matched with you, then you have to wait longer for a killer match.

Whichever side is being played most, takes longer to load as they have to pair with the role thats being played less. So when new killers come out, or 2v8 starts, most people want to play the new killers or in killer duo with their friends, so the wait time gets much longer on killers and nearly instant with survivors. Also bloodpoont incentives are given to roles that are being played less (most often survivors) to try to get more people to play them and even it out
