People cheating
I'm rank 13 with gold border and i know it doesnt mean anything but the higher i go the more cheaters i come across, I hit one off them then was about to hit her again and she some how didnt, It seemed to me she was cheating... I somehow missed when i was really close to her, I was thinking it was that perk where you dodge but she did IT AGAIN or speed hacked...
Iv come across speed hackers where i can't even catch them or even come close to them... Whats with the cheaters... It's insane..
I'm here to have fun, Not run into cheaters with speed hacks, I don't even hit them once and they some how get a huge speed boost forever, its insane!
Is this a perk iv never seen or something?

Last time I have occured a hacker was early 2018.
You said you are at rank 13 with "gold border", so I will simply assume that you dont know what can be done in the game without cheating

Yesterday, I've been called as cheater, because I found someone in locker while I was in frenzy.
So yes, it is possible you come across with speed hackers, or bad connection, or some combinations of perks you haven't seen yet. The best you could do report them with video proof and try to learn the game more. The more you learn the sooner you realize if that is a hack or not.

I consider it a compliment when a survivor calls me a "hacker". I must have made them so mad :-D

I have came accross 1 or 2 obvious cheaters since starting playing the game.
It sounds like the survivor did a 360 tbh as you said they were really close to you.
The other thing is what killer you are playing as some are slower than others, lag also comes into play as it p2p you are hosting the match so make sure you check the pings at the start of the game and be weary of playing on Wi-Fi, also once you interact with them the ping can spike as more data is being processed.

Cheating happens all the time in this game....I hope noone is too naive to think it's diff than any other online MP game.
It's damn tough to verify wallhacking killers but I know they exist. It's damn tough to prove a survivor who gives themself a 1 or 2 percent speed boost, but they exists.
It's damn tough to prove a survivor enabling perks they don't have equipped, but they exist.
But hey, EAC stops me from using my RGB lighting software, so it must be working...
People are just too gullible and naive I swear.

If anyone is sitting here and thinks EAC of much use when there are videos on YouTube... "How To Hack DBD" which has been going on for years, I would be bewildered.

I find it funny how allot of times new people come on here and say they couldn't catch someone... so they must be cheating.. And the player doesn't play the other side, nor can express the possibility of what could have caused it... Why?... Cause they don't bother looking up the other players perks and go.. oh maybe that is what it is...

For example the OP... Sounds like they did an indepth investigation on what the possible reasons are to why this may have happened... It is... I swing and I miss them.... Then states... It may have been a perk that dodge...
But did they even look at the summary screen to see what perk it was?... Any possible idea what perk might be able to do that?.. Nah it is.. I tried again and missed... so they must be cheating.

Nobody said their wasn't cheaters in this game... However maybe players need to do some investigation before jumping to conclusions.

This game has quite a lot of closets with ESP but you will never be able to tell. I've never seen a speed hacker in past 900 hours. Tho...there were moments when killer bloodlusted me 2-3 seconds after the chase has started and there was no one else around.
Smart closet won't be obvious more than once or twice per game and will be able to stream with cheats on till EAC or whatever will catch him few years later.
There are cheaters in every online game, under every anticheat

LOL, People defending cheaters, A survivor can't have a speed boost more than 3 seconds but iv seen because have it more than 10 seconds, Its insane.

I've only seen perhaps 10 actual speed hackers in almost 2k hours of playing and all I caught on video. There's some others that were suspect but only BHVR knows for sure whether or not they were.
As far as other hackers yes there's quite a few out there and every time on gets patched a new one comes out. The game is popular enough that sites will make hacks for it because they can more than make up for the time it takes.
@Stubbsyefc1 The only way to be sure is to record it, watch it back and see if it's an actual hack or just latency and if you think it's an actual hack submit it to support.

@TheBean: Now, I personally don't know if there are cheaters in DbD, so my response isn't about the number of possible cheaters or such.
However, EAC isn't that hard to bypass anyway. Heck, Apex Legends is a prime example of that. Even before Apex, though, I saw EAC here in DbD, in the Hi-Rez games, and other places, and I just shook my head.
