I dont get the hate on cherry blosom?

Exhaustion perks don't really help since if Cherry Blossom triggers, most of the time Spirit will just stop phasing and hit.

This addon is kinda ok, true you know when someone is next to you but you dont see scratch marks so spirit player must go by guessing what path survivor will use and look for grass/corn, hear footsteps,moans. This addon is more stronger on injured survivors but again when you are injured against spirit its only matter of time before she knocks you down you cant bait her just like you were healty. Fact is spirit is one of the killers that is super hard to know what addons she runs only spirit mains will gues right and fact is I hate to go against her probably the most of all killer even more than agains s-tier because its hard to loop something you dont see and nurse or blight even they are busted are more readable than spirit.

It removes too much of her counterplay and tells the Spirit while still phasing basically whether she's at your location or not. It does take away scratch marks, but you don't need scratch marks if you just get killer instinct instead. There's also no way for survivors to even tell if it's there or not so you just end up guessing whether it's even being used. Spirit is inherently designed around using sounds and environmental cues to track and find survivors, and getting killer instinct on a survivor just completely breaks that balance and skews it too far in the killer's favor.

The previous nerf they gave it also wasn't an effective nerf because it meant that the killer instinct was actually made more accurate when it does activate compared to before because the radius is smaller. There's no nerf or penalty that can be given to it that would make it fair; Spirit herself is mostly fine but this addon is long overdue to be reworked.

These are very different things, ya know.

Cherry Blossom basically gives you the precise location of a survivor, eliminating the intended downside of using Spirit's power. Windows of Opportunity only became part of the survivor meta because many of survivor perks were nerfed into obscurity, and new survivor perks are often mediocre in strength, nowhere near as useful as survivor perks used to be.

Personally, I don't use WoO, but I get why people use it: objectively, it provides more consistent valuer than many other perks in the current state of DBD.

This is whataboutism. Just because some things are too good, unhealthy or unfun to go against does not mean that it justifies other things which are too good, unhealthy or unfun.
