Maybe I'm just crazy but are there some survivors who are bots but not labeled as bots?

I had a few matches as both Killer and survivor where I've noticed some survivors just don't do anything. It's easier to notice as survivor but they'll hide in a corner or locker in the corner of a map the entire match.

Am I crazy?

    I'm willing to bet there's people who have botting programs (cheats basically) that play their survivor and queue up for them to farm bloodpoints from the event and such.

    I've also seen extremely weird behavior from teammates in my games.

    You're not crazy. I had a Leon in a match a few games ago who literally did nothing all match. He kind of ran around in weird circles.

    Sure as heck feels like there are bots. Had a match today where I was running from Springtrap, and the Nea came out of nowhere and tried blinding him with a flashlight before I even went down - confused both me and Springtrap before I went down. Then she started working on a generator right where she had shined the flashlight, so she was an easy second target. Either that was a bot, a really bad player, or someone throwing. I'm leaning towards bot, cause even a bad player isn't that dumb.

    Maybe they added bots to the matches to mitigate queue times lol.

    Sometimes the game bugs out and a bot takes over a player without showing its a bot

    I know this because I was playing with a friend and their power went out, but their character kept playing by itself

    BUUUUUUUT, I also heard something about bots being used in a real account but I'm not sure if I can discuss that

    Its because FNAF brought in a whole new bunch of survivors who are utterly clueless. Bots aren't intentionally useless, they will still at least attempt objectives, whereas useless players cant even do that much

    • Bots are BAD, (I'm talking about the real ones and not the supposed ones). It's not true that they work on generators, especially if killer has a large terror radius. They are programmed to stay hidden, when barely feel the terror radius. In some games I've seen bots do absolutely nothing. On the contrary, when the generators are completed (by real players), they are VERY FAST to open the door and run away🤣

    I dont think that there are Bots. Because you can see the behavior of a Bot and it differs from that of a player.

    But I am pretty sure that they were tinkering with Matchmaking a bit OR the huge amount of players is causing it. My SWF-Mate and myself were really wondering what was going on on Saturday, because we had teammates who were really, really strange.

    there are bots 100%, i just had an Yui who would point the flashlight at me whenever i was near to her, this is a behaviour i only know from bots.

    The bots have very distinct pathing while in chase. Unless they use a different AI you will be able to tell.

    I would say that falls under pretty normal player behavior tbh. I wouldn’t say it’s incredibly common but it’s happened enough over the years. It just means like hey or what’s up just being funny type thing via flashlight signaling.
