The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

One thing I've always wanted answered by BHVR
Over the years we always see a random killer or killer addon suddenly get nerfed. And per the community it's not something we particularly felt was needed or that anyone was complaining about or asking for and yet it happens. Like with Springtraps addon recently that was nerfed. Someone from BHVR even commented on why it was nerfed; because internally they saw it was performing a few percentage points higher than was acceptable.
Okay. That's fine.
but.
We as players are not stupid. We know there are other killers in the game that need desperately the same treatment. Some of the best players in the game stream and we know these players go on 800+ winstreaks with some of these other killers. They're not going on winstreaks like this with Springtrap. Maybe they win 50 games straight with him. It's a lot, but eventually they do lose. Eventually they do have a bad game. But not with some of other killers who have been in the game forever. Why can't Blight, for example, really honestly get the same treatment to bring him more in line in concern to top-level play.
Why is it okay that if you can pilot blight at such a level that you just deserve to never lose. It's honestly ridiculous that BHVR lets this continue to slide. I mean come on, why does the left hand get to randomly nerf things that no one even notices, while the right hand completely ignores a problem that anyone and everyone knows is there. It's mind-boggling BHVR. Mind-boggling.

BHVR needs to constantly monitor who is S-tier, and who is D-tier and work towards bringing them towards each other. If there are any hopes to improve the balance of the game this is a sensible way to do it. Does Blight NEED to be 115% speed, or have a pallet insta-break, or amazing addons?

100% agreed. While I am of the opinion that problematic Add Ons should be nerfed even on mid-tier Killers, I dont understand their priorities most of the time.
Like most Killer Nerfs are somewhat of a Joke if Nurse can exist like she does.
Blight is also a perfect example, at some point I was convinced that John Behavior is a Blight-Main. A few years ago the Devs announced Add On changes to a bunch of Killers and Blight was mentioned. The weeks after this announcement, you would only face Blights who use Alchemist Ring, since everyone knew back then (actually since day 1) that the Add On was busted and needed a Nerf. And when the changes rolled out, they just buffed Adrenaline Vial from his worst Add On to one of the best and this was the only change (in general, for a time every Patch included a Blight-Buff). Alchemist Ring only got nerfed years later.
Meanwhile while some Killers and Add Ons are allowed to exist, some Add Ons on mid Killers get nerfed, even if they are not even problematic. And I dont really know why - if we look at Blight, I am pretty sure that you can see that he is way better with the Speed Add Ons used (even in their nerfed state), yet they dont really receive any changes.
That 3-digit Killstreaks are possible with those Killers should also not be a thing. Because you dont get those Killstreaks only because you are good - it is a factor, but the Killer has to be absurdly strong to achieve those. You might reach those with Nurse, Blight, Twins or whatever, but never with Wraith, Springtrap or Unknown, even if you are very, very capable on those Killers.
And I feel that this is also the big balancing issue. They need to bring some Killers down and some Killers up. The gap between Nurse, Blight and Trapper, Clown is just too big to make a good balance. It is fine that not every Killer is equally strong, but the range is too large. And this results in overall Killer Buffs and overall Killer Nerfs to be a balancing nightmare. Something which really might help the weakest Killers might make the strongest Killers even more busted. And something which nerfs the strongest Killers in a significant way might destroy the weaker Killers.

- While it's normal for "new killers" to be monitored more than the old ones, it's actually not normal for some addons for other killers to be completely ignored (even though they're pretty strong). Finding a blight without a "bounce speed" addon is virtually impossible🤣

The only plausible reason I can think of is because Nurse and Blight are free to play killers. So nobody can say the game is P2W, because "look you have access to top tier killers…"

I believe they just have stats we don't have access to and see things we don't.
Just like NightLight's stats are absolutely not representative of real stats, players' sentiments about some particular add-ons/items/etc. aren't either.

Blight favoritism has been insane honestly. Recently, Ghoul received the token nerf when breaking pallets, why has this not been applied to Blight yet.

This is honestly my thing as well. People complain about Kaneki being overpowered, but are Stockholm-syndromed into accepting Blight's BS when it comes to catching up to survivors and his busted add-ons
Seriously, its mildly irritating and lopsided that Blight, Billy, Oni and Bubba who can all break pallets with their power, don't immediately lose tokens/charges but Kankei does? Like, make it make sense.

Instead of nerfing killers, how about we buff the rest of the D tier killers?
We only have a handful of S tier killers, but there are over 10 or even 20 killers that desperately needs help. They need the attention much more than everything else.
It's the same for perks. It's better to buff the 50 useless/niche perks to usable, rather than keep nerfing the better one.

I am all for killers receiving basekit buffs and nerfing their add-ons so they don't have to run the same ones every time to function (looking at you Deathslinger). That being said, some addon nerfs that we had in the past were confusing as they were not considered problematic. You know, did we really had to nerf Unknown's Vanishing Box and Blurry Photo?
Sometimes I feel like BHVR's balancing team does these changes only to fill the patch notes, because they don't feel necessary.

Sure, I want to read your concepts of how you buff Killers like Legion or Trapper to S-Tier.
It is always the same, when someone complains that BHVRs balance decisions are sometimes questionable because they clearly more often decide to nerf mid-tier Killers than the strongest ones, someone comes around and says "How about buffing the rest?"
You will never achieve that. Dont get me wrong, the weakest Killers need to be buffed, but the strongest need to be nerfed. You have to do both, because you cannot just buff the bottom line and keep the problematic top line as it is.
