Seriously, How does anyone Actually find The Hatch

So admittedly ive only been here for like, A Week

But Regardless of if im on The Killer or Survivor, I can never actually find that thing 😅

I keep running around the map, big open areas, hear nothing, Then the game suddenly ends because either the other guy Somehow found it first, or i just die 🙃

Please help me

    Well generally it's easier for killer to find hatch cause he can traverse the map without fear of being spotted.

    As survivor you have to move quickly, only stealth if the killer is coming right at you but hasn't seen you yet.

    First you need to be aware if there are secret offerings, which means the hatch will likely either spawn at shack or main building in case a hatch offering was consumed.

    So you circle the map towards those two locations, not directly in the center of the map nor on the complete outskirts. You look and listen and hope the killer doesn't run right towards you.

    If the killer does intercept you, then you keep looking for hatch while you run the killer. Don't greed tiles too much, just pre drop and leave the tile to search for hatch. If you're lucky, you hear the angelic hum and get out alive.

    Pan your camera around as you search and listen for it as you are more likely to hear it before you spot it

    For me, it's good headphones, sometimes an offering, and RNG luck!
