Which killers do U feel miserable playing as?
I have 1050 hours in game, and i can confidently say that i can play like 70/60% of killers pretty well, but my god, when it comes to xeno i'd rather play perkless trapper for a hundred games than play xeno for 1, i just feel so misreable playing her.
I used to play her quite a bit when i had like 200-500 hours but ever since i hit high/mid mmr i just stopped and gave up on her, and at this point i despise playing as her.
killers i play and im confident with(and love/enjoy): knight,singu,dorito head,billy,oni,deathslinger,doctor,springtrap,ghoul,dracula,vecna,ghost face,legion,demo,blight,trickster,dredge,lich,bubba,wraith
kilers that i know how to play, but not an expert with: wesker, pinhead, trapper, freddy, huntress, xeno, nemesis, unknown
killers that i never intend on playing: plague, nurse, hag, twins, spirit, artist, onryo, skull merchant, houndmaster, chucky
killers i hate to play as: xeno

I hate playing Blight. I don't understand how people play him willingly.
Similarly Billy, I wish I could remove the initial curve with an add-on because holy hell this screws me over more than helps.
And Unknown. Tried him on the PTB and noped out instantly. I am bad at aiming, so a killer that requires aim AND has a bouncy projectile is just a nightmare. I did try Huntress, Trickster and Deathslinger, as well as Artist, and none of them feel as awful.
5 -
Nurse, I am a console pleb.
Hound master, I can never get the dog to work.
5 -
There actually is an addon for that.
I used to use it when i started playing him, but then i just didnt need it after a while .
1 -
yeah it always feels pretty bad playing
Xenomorph, everything about their kit just feels kind of slow. Maybe it’s not for me, but yeah I don’t enjoy it. I feel like they’re hard to play with little reward.
Pinhead, using their chains is very wonky. Idk why it forces a different pov that feels jarring. Would change it to normal pov for this. The jarring forced pov change makes it very hard to aim.3 -
Dash killers generally (blight & wesker in particular) can't stand playing as them (though I have theur adepts.
Not a fan of billy, nurse, sadako, spirit or pinhead either.
I main trapper so personally I prefer the M1 playstyle & rely on years of experience to play them at an above average level.
Only killers I play semi often that vary from that style is Oni (yes I know dash 🤷🏻♂️) & the odd bit of trickster. & chucky because I waited years for him to be on even if I don't especially like how he plays.
Never played Dredge, Houndmaster, unknown, singularity, xeno or ghoul despite owning them day 1, will never own Springtrap but certainly wouldn't play him for a lot of reasons if I did.
2 -
Nurse - Don't play her enough to develop the muscle memory needed for her Blinks, and since I don't play her enough, I keep missing my Blinks and default to basic chasing on the one Killer who literally cannot do that.
Blight - I used to really like Blight, then I took a few weeks off and now every match just makes me want to throw my mouse at the computer.
Most of the Ranged Killers - I can't hit the broad side of a barn at point-blank range, so Huntress & Slinger just suck, and I can't get the hang of Unknown's ricochet. Trickster's really the only exception to the true ranged Killers.
Spirit - I have good headphones, but I've always had trouble with directional audio. I always wind up overshooting or undershooting or just not even being in the same ballpark.
Honorable mention to two Killers I used to hate but have actually grown to really enjoy: Artist and Singularity. I'm not sure what I did on Singu, but Artist was just learning how to shotgun her birds and use them as active chase tools rather than anti-loop.
3 -
Hillbilly, can’t play him to save my life.
(Sorry I thought this said “to play against” at first so I needed to edit 💀)
4 -
Singularity and Xeno
I find Singularity really tedious. Lots of gymnastics for an M1 hit.
The turrets really annoy me with Xeno. I find them to be too repetitive, and they tend to turn the trial into a slog.
3 -
Billy and Blight, idk how to control them. Billy especially, the random turning at the start of the sprint ALWAYS make me hit an obstacle that's not even remotely close to where I was looking for or where I wanted to go...
and Pyramid Head because he's the weakest killer in the game (imo)
-1 -
houndmaster and wesker
houndmaster is just painful to play i spend more time aiming at the gens than i do chasing
and wesker, bumping into nothing or a survivor just sliding off wall like butter just makes me die inside lol
2 -
You and me both lol.
(except the PH bit, I don't own him yet.)
1 -
Nurse is definitely the worst for me to play because the camera shakes make me feel nauseous
also don't like playing Spirit since I usually play without sound
The mobility killers like Blight, Billy, Wesker, Ghoul, and Oni in power are the most fun to play for me because they have good constant flow and feel fluid in general compared to the other killers who feel so slow
1 -
Trapper find too frustrating with long set up times with traps being easy to shut down.
Skull Merchant 2.0 was her best version that I did enjoyed and she's got some of the best cosmetics in the game imo, but since the gutted her she feels like a pure M1 killer with no power and for all we know her rework is still in the planning phase with Microsoft paint doodles.
3 -
Myers :/
-2 -
My least favorites as a console player
Xeno - not fun getting stunned out of power constantly
Nurse - don't find her fun, don't want to play her enough to get muscle memory. Auto aim is worse on her than any other killer
Springtrap - Dealing with the pre running from good survivors is getting to be abysmal
Unknown - can't use his power well and the window to do damage is too small for console. I play him as m1 with teleport
Houndmaster - I like using the search function for chase and checking gens but the aiming is way too jank
Spirit - even though I have a really high kill rate on her. She's my highest after skull merchant. When I play her I find i have trouble precisely pinpointing where survivors are via audio and I end up getting frustrated and missing easy m1s
2 -
I'm absolutely rubbish with Ghoul. Legion feels like an old glove whereas playing Ghoul i feel like I'm wearing earbuds and they get caught on a branch as I walk by
2 -
Ghostface because basically have no power being revealed from everywhere. Billy and Blight are too awkward for me.
1 -
The Xenomorph is the genuine antikiller experience, everything about this killer is annoying and unsatisfactory.
3 -
The only killer I could never mechanically grasp was the Unknown. A projectile killer that requires you to bounce hit within a very small amount of time. At least killers that are mechanically hard like singularity actually reward you whereas unknown is kinda just a wet fart
1 -
Hate to play: Trickster (the recoil change did very little for controller), Hag (w/o Waterlogged Shoe + Scarred Hand), Twins, Pinhead (why is there a static 0.5 second camera transition time on something that fundamentally charges up like Nurse why why why why why)
Boring to play: Artist, Ghoul (will play when toned down assuming the base mobility feels good enough), Clown, Skull Merchant (any iteration), Chucky
Most fun to play: Wesker (despite my kill rate being like, 65% because I never bothered learning all of his techs and I threw a lot with the survivor backpack build), Animatronic (dunno if it's just recency bias)
Everyone else falls into the categories of meh (such as Dredge or Onryo), I enjoyed them well enough when they first came out but never felt the need to keep playing them consistently (such as Nemesis or Houndmaster), or I hate what they did to them despite liking how they play on a fundamental level (Blight's collision "improvements", Billy's annoying head bobbing).
1 -
Oni

I hate playing as: Bubba, Freddy, Trapper, Blight
I dislike playing as: Wraith, Nurse, Hillbilly, Knight,
I don't mind playing as: Doctor, Deathslinger, Legion, Ghostface
I enjoy playing as: Pig, Huntress, Spirit, Hag
I don't have a lot of experience playing as: Dredge, Chucky, Dracula, Vesca
I Don't have these Killers: Springtrap, Singletary, Kaneki, Unknown, Houndmaster

Sadly i mained xeno and can confirm, after a certain mmr level you are just playing against swat teams that make multi turret safezones, and then somehow you feel like you run slower than scratch mirror myers when trying to catch people before they reach the next window etc. I keep trying anyway out of love for the aliens franchise, wouldnt mind a full rework.
I cant stand playing as killers that people generally hate to play against, as i play allot of survivor too. So i really have to be in the mood to play as plague, ghoul, doctor, legion, wesker etc.
I like how springtrap plays, but im so used to play against constant "Tunnel Bunnies" that i don't want to give off that impression by playing him either.
I generally avoid blight and nurse mainly because of how unfair they feel to use, and ive p100ed Ghoul out of love for Rize from the anime, but i cant bring myself to play her until shes fixed to a point where people arent miserable as soon as the round starts. I also avoid wesker for the same reason as springtrap, hes been extremely tunnely since his ptb, and using your power feels very personal against that player when you couldve just hit them with the knife easy.
Artist / pinhead / pyramid head are all killers i can either win very quickly with but i hesitate to play them as they are easy to lose with as well.
The ones i do end up playing most are Dracula (100), skull merchant, unknown (which ive gotten gradually better at landing even crazy shots), huntress, and everyone else on the roster occasinally including twins.
3 -
Trapper, if one survivor follows you around you have no power the entire game
3 -
Dash killers like Chucky and Blight. I really dislike playing them.
3 -
Pinhead, so much work for a hindered effect…
3 -
huntress.
I love M1 killers and I’m decent with most killer powers but I have not put much time into huntress and she just feels so clunky compared to springtrap
1 -
i feel miserable playing knight because i always feel like i could try something with this killer but it never works and the guards are just weak. He pretty much feels like a killer with no power against 3 survivors, assuming 4th one is always distracted by the guards. I don't even know what is supposed to be satisfying with this killer anymore, i also don't know the direction dbd wants to take with this killer.
Even if he was good it still feels bad to play him because you just know that survivors are having the most boring match of their lives.
Additionally the jankyness of the knight that you can't drop guards down any height is really inconvenient, and lazily done. They could of just cut of the patrol path from the point you dropped but no you have to go back to the ground to summon a guard.
The killer is also too noisy for the amount of nothing it achieves with its power.1 -
That makes me sad honestly. What don't you like about Bam Bam?
1 -
Blight, Hillbilly & Wesker.
1 -
Nurse. Why I dont touch her anymore. Gathering dust.
Games already unfair for survivors at this stage of the game, and nurse just rubs their face in it.0 -
Pinhead. If you miss an M2 then the survivor gets soooo much distance on you since they were holding W the whole time while you were motionless.
3 -
Dracula. I know he's powerful and everything, but I just struggle with him so hard, which is weird. I've never really struggled that hard with a killer I was determined to learn, but I hit a wall with Dracula.
Bubba. His power is so punishing if you mess up.
3 -
Why do you think he's the weakest? The general consensus is that he's a solid A-tier killer.
0 -
from the killers i've played? twins or hag killers i've played recently? i've only been playing springtrap so him
0 -
Honestly I have to say morely Trickster and huntress because im on controller and im horrible at range based killers.
Im good at Killers Like The Unknown and Demogorgon because there simple and kinda easy to learn but hard to master.
0 -
I basically never play killers that i despise versing, which are: Plague, Trickster, Twins, Xenomorph and Knight.
1 -
Well I‘m really bad with him. When in power I miss most hits and his turn rate is so slow, which makes navigating cluttered maps frustrating. Not to mention that I need to get a power first. Most of the time I‘m better of not using the power and his M1s become weird in demon dash form.
0 -
I got him to p100, i find its easier to focus around 1 of his 2 attack forms and save the other for a "backup plan" until the main form is ready for use again.
Like i make 1 build entirely for hellfire cooldown and another build entirely for wolf form the entire round, using hellfire only when someones about to make it to a pallet before me etc. I just use bat form as a mobility thing, not to cut people off but just reach other floors, farther generators.
And im not sure if youve played pyramid head, but you have pre-emptively aim hellfire like you were pyramid head

Do you play with a controller or M&K? I'm on Playstation and found his turning is pretty decent. You just have to kinda counter rotate the sticks. Getting his power active can definitely be painful though.

For me, it's:
Mechanically tricky Killers, like Nurse and Blight (these Killers also make me feel queasy).
Xeno, because I play on controller and I'm absolutely useless with the tail. I genuinely do better if I don't even try to use it.
Pinhead (only bought him because he was leaving the game). I played one trial with him and absolutely hated it. Don't think I landed a single chain. Also hate playing against him, so that's another reason.
Any Killer that isn't The Trapper on Nintendo Switch.
There are also some Killers I will never, ever bother with because I know I won't be in for a good time (like Houndmaster and Singu).

I Main primarily M1 Killers with a handful of short-range (hit over loop only that is) M2s. My three most played are Dredge, Ghostface, and Nemesis, with others making up the "away team" so to speak. Current Roster includes Dracula, Springtrap (learning), Onryo, Myers, Pinhead, and Pig with a handful of rarely chosen others. I play on PC but use a controller for comfort reasons at 80% sensitivity, for reference.
I'd rather gargle glass than play another single round as:
- Nurse: Her fatigue mechanic and fact she's so timing-heavy really bothers me. Plus once you figure out her one trick to get instant wins every time, games become the most boring 4k streakfest ever. Literally, it's "Press X to Kill Everyone" and it's just… there's no challenge or point in it. I despise playing as Nurse, it feels like fighting through molasses to just dominate with no issue.
- Artist: I'm sorry but she's boring. REALLY boring. The birds are nice but I don't like having to know a 20,000 page guide on every tile and where to place every single bird if I want results. She's just a basic M1 with a kinda lackluster M2 that has to hit multiple times and also gets countered by lockers. Plus everything she does, Huntress, Springtrap, and several other ranged Killers do scads better. I am genuinely miserable as her.
- Twins: Boring, boring, boring. Slug simulator and nothing else. Chucky is better, cooler Victor in every way. Character is glitchy; it's a 50/50 crapshoot on if I'll actually get to use Victor today. Hard Pass.
- Knight: AI never works properly. AI is glitchy. Character is bugged. Character doesn't have much going for him besides slapping a Companion down and hoping. Otherwise a basic M1 that doesn't do much that's special; Houndmaster does much of what he does way better. Generally not fun for me. If I hit my power button, I want the power to just work. Knight doesn't. I feel forced into having to camp hooks and I HATE that, I hate Knight, you could not pay me enough money to actually play him.
The following Killers annoy me, but are tolerable if I'm in the right mood:
- Huntress: Used to play her and don't anymore. I grew to really dislike her windup timing, it feels like it takes 3-10 business days for me to actually get my power ready. She moves too slowly to play the M1 Game I like, and I don't like having to stop and reload.
- Demogorgon: Used to play a lot, don't anymore. Too slow to set up portals, and the Shred. Hits. Everything. Literally everything in existence. It feels like I'm being 🐓blocked. When he performs he really performs, otherwise he's nothing special. :(
- Deathslinger: Slow. Annoying one shot and if you miss you have to reload mechanic. Chain issues. You can hit through some things you shouldn't be able to, but not through some things you should be able to. Just frustrating.
- Trickster: Feels slow even if he's actually not. Annoying reload mechanic. Have to hit a billion times to get anywhere. People just hide. Feels cheesy when you do hit. His ankles are broken around most tiles even with his M2. Just not fun for me.
- Oni: Used to enjoy him until the update to his turn and dash happened. Now he feels intolerably clunky and I hate it. :(
- Blight: Makes the game too easy, and I find that really boring. I'm not playing my power, I'm playing my perks. Gets really old, really fast.
- Wesker: Too slippery. Too glitchy. Too frustrating. I feel like I'm fighting the controller every step of the way. I feel like I'm playing with wet spaghetti that keeps slipping through my hands. People think I'm sweaty and they play like it. I do not find Wesker enjoyable in any way. Throwing people is fun, if I can manage to even grab them. I would rather play with actual wet spaghetti.
- Xenomorph: I really wanted to like this Killer. In theory it has everything I enjoy - short range M2, stealth, mobility, and plays a little like Nemesis. Should be fun right? Sorry but no - the tail has Deathslinger's gun's collision issues, and being hit with turrets to lose my power and become another basic M1 Killer that can't even mindgame because it's too tall feels BAD. I'm pretty sure Ghostface has a faster power cooldown than Xeno does if it's unable to get to its tunnels or is mid chase or something. Again, when I hit a button, I just want my power to work, not have a weird windup. Makes me sad every day that I don't enjoy Xenomorph.
- Houndmaster: I don't mind her. I just can't stand the Snug Bugs. AI companions for Killers were a crapshoot and I really hope the Devs do not make more of them. They can't seem to make AI companions work right, unless they're like… Nemesis zombies or something.
I have some amount of fun with, can tolerate, or enjoy everyone else. Trapper's a weird case because he's my throw "Joke Pick", I only play him to play "Stay Outta The Void/My Shack/The Main" Trapper.

This is why I prefer majority M1 Killers or short range M2 Killers to anyone with a super strong mobility M2. If you have a power that is really strong, the tradeoff is if you miss, that was your shot - they get distance, you better try again.
Meanwhile if I'm Ghostface or Dredge or Onryo or Wraith, I just finish using my power, chase, pop out and hit them.
0 -
That would be my feedback.
-3 -
Cenobite. And I say this as someone who plays exclusively Ceno and is probably in the top 20 of best Pinhead players globally.
He is absolutely miserable to play. Extremely map dependent, full of glitches, with a casino M2 that can see me LOSE distance even if i land a 100% efficient, frame perfect hit through a wall.
Too bad BHVR now has a convenient excuse to ignore him for 4 more years ("the license expired so he's not a high priority, hehehe")!
2 -
Trickster it's just so hard to aim with a controller
1 -
if you ever want to horse around, dog only Drac is fun. the broken doll catches a lot of people off guard
