Do you think we'll ever get a wolfman Killer?

Now that the Grimoire has been updated it looks like we're getting an angelic Killer, which I guess I'm okay with, even if I'm surprised at its popularity. But for a moment I was really excited at the prospect of the 'chimeric' type Killer, especially if it had gone in a wolfman/werewolf direction. 'innocent person who turns into a hulking beast' is both a staple of horror and also a niche that's not really been filled yet on the DBD roster: I'm also a huge fan of werewolves and similar tropes in pop culture and folklore, so I may be biased here. Do you think that it will ever show up again, or have we missed our chance to bark at the moon?

    I doubt that we "missed out on the chance".

    As you said, werewolves are staples of horror media. I'm certain that we will get one eventually (unless we stop making original chapters altogether for some reason).

    plus werewolves are part of so many licenses, it'll have its time. Although, BHVR is clearly going in a more experimental direction when it comes to original killers so maybe we might get another were-creature all my fellow closeted furries can enjoy.

    That last part was a joke… I think.

    I'm not a huge fan of werewolves but so long as it doesn't just look like literal wolf I guess I wouldn't hate it. Maybe something like American Werewolf in London. I think it would be funny after death if you could walk around unable to touch or interact with anything but still able to tbag at the killer. Lore accurate to the license.

    Just my opinion but I think we need an angelic killer however I think the grimoire is just which killer gets picked first to be released

    Well. We got a were-elk. And seeing that skins popularity might boost their interest in making a were-something killer. And since they even suggested werewolf as an example option, they are definitely aware some people would love a werewolf / wereanimal chapter eventually. Just like i was hoping for a cosmic / lovecraftian monster killer at some point, that too showed up on the votes and lost. Maybe they plan to do something from all the options eventually, and we are just picking the one we want first.

    BHVR when making original characters try to avoid these common themes for monsters and horror characters. They make really good original ideas anyway. Like we have a Pirate with a hunting Dog, you don't see that in horror movies or any media.
