Ghoul is Skull Merchant 2
Honestly, no one I've seen wants to play against this killer. This is so reminiscent of when Skull Merchant came out.
The DC timer was turned off and all I could see was people using it to DC against ghoul, and rightfully so, it's such a painful experience. How this killer hasn't been nerfed yet is beyond me

Problem with Ghoul it's a noob stomper killer while being ridiculously easy to play. Ghoul also has bug/feature with vaulting pallet while holding survior frozen, auto aim landing free hit and ability to move across the map faster than Nurse.
I'm honestly not surprised people avoid it.
It's literally way too strong for such low "skill" requirement. No wonder people abuse it. When I play survivor, Kaneki is in my every 3rd game. I can confirm in 2 out of 3 games someone DC's against it

2nd financial quarter is when? August? I expect it's nerf after that

Ghoul needs more than just simple number tweaks, which explains why they didn't rush out some nerfs in a hotfix.
The free hit needs to be completely removed and the power rebalanced around the spoder-man leaping component.
Anything less and he will remain a DC magnet.

He might be even worse, honestly. Skull merchant was a terrible design that was obnoxious to play against and a noob stomper with a non existing skill floor. Ghoul is all of that but actually strong as well.

He wouldn't be as painful to go against if so many maps didn't have complete dead zones as they tend to these days

Yeah, games against him would be better if the maps still had resources, like they used to.

he's broken in high level play too, dbd league even banned a form of kidnap tech. and this is true despite Kaneki mains having far less experience than blight spirit and nurse mains.

exactly, that's why I hate how BHVR operates. They prioritize profits over everything else, even if fhat means having a bugged barely playable game but releasing new cosmetics eaxh week to milk the players' money...
that's why I have no hopes for any fix on springtrap anytime soon... it needs to stop selling so they can fix it

skull didn’t have super speed, insane zoning, crazy map control going from hook to gen in seconds, literally free injures with 3 buttons. This is no comparison to my poor skull

They haven't even begun the Skullmerchant rework and it won't be out till the end of the year. If Devs confirmed a Ghoul rework it ain't arriving till end of next year.
Also good luck trying to figure out how to rework him he has tentacles and eats people figure out how to rework that.
