On average mmr the Perk is meh alone. You wasted time finding chests and on chests for a low quality item that might not even BE the One you want.
So you need other perks for it to BE more consistent. And than you waste time creating the glitch...
I can see the issue on good teams tho but again. You might just loses 40secs to even make it work or more.
Add this to the pain res + unbalanced DMS every single game even at low mmr.
I think a quick Patch can fix it but i also think the perk isnt really game breaking unless you get bully Squad maybe.

Plunders, ace in the hole, entities coin, you’ll get a chest real fast. Quick fix for sure is needed

The first bug fix for the FNaF chapter was what, a week later? It'll get fixed.
I run Streetwise on my gen build with a toolbox but I use Built to Last so it's like I'm doing the slower, ethical version of this bug. I wouldn't exploit something like this. Gross if a lot of people are.

To be fair, I have no idea what you're referring to with "if you know you know" but I am using Streetwise a lot because it's new and I like the new effect a lot.
Whatever the bug is, it's evidently possible to be actively using the perk and not know about it lol

Its a bug that you kinda have to be aware of doing it do get alot of value from it. Unfortunately for ppl purposefully doing it, its kinda gamebreaking. Its kind of like how ppl could use flashlights without being aware of the flashlight locker exploit, but killswitching flashlights til the bug was fixed was still a good call.

I don’t even know why the kill switch exists. The devs refuse to use it 98% of the time when it should be used. I’m struggling to think of reasons to not kill switch it. It was rarely used before this bug, so it’s not like a massive amount of people are going to be pissed about not being able to use it with this exception of the large number of people that would be upset about not being able to abuse the bugged version in matches. But now, more than ever with this latest patch, I’ve come to expect inexplicable decisions as the norm.

Oh im sure its usage is gonna SKYROCKET just like what happened to wake up when IT was bugged. All of a sudden everyone started claiming it had always been on their builds.

To be fair we have bugs in this game that are still here back from when The Plague was released so I think it’s perfectly okay to be concerned in delivering this.

You don’t need the perks I mentioned to go crazy. Just 1 or 2.Either way bug is powerful and needs to be kill switched or fixed asap sharp.

Given the time investment idk if I'd call it game breaking. It's a shame as I wanted to try out new Streetwise but can't now. Same with Fog Vials.

I noticed that too. If you look at the comment section of YouTube videos, ppl were saying they wanna do it really quick before it gets killswitched.
There was another thread on here saying Pig should be killswitched and Pig players punished because the no chase bug caused by the item survivors were using could benefit Pig.

Its extremely easy to not exploit it, if they do then its 100% intentional abuse (in the interest of not saying how to do it, just if they do then it wasnt on accident)

Yeah, the bug is pretty bad.
Being able to refill an items charges by when you pick them out of chests is dumb, and honestly I don't feel that Streetwise needed a change.
This is probably another case where it got nerfed like Franklin's because it would've messed with the new item.
It isn't the worst bug, and I highly doubt they'll killswitch it, even if they should. Imo, they need to stop being so hesitant to use the killswitch.

Franklin, Streetwise and Overwhelming Presence are the way they are now EXACTLY because they have no idea how to code loss, more or less charges for the Vials and new Keys and Maps.

there is no way you are implying your personal experience reflecs his. That's like saying cheating in a non issue because you don't face cheaters ever . Some servers have way more than others and some folks get personally targeted . Our experience in this game vary for many reasons.

This bug led to an increase of purple toolboxes with speed addons using Streetwise and Scavenger finishing gens in less than 4 minutes.
I'm reporting all these exploiters.

It boggles my mind sometimes that they can be super reluctant to use the kill switch when it's really a pretty obviously correct call.
If your bug/issue is localized to a single perk, and that issue is noticeably impactful, then use the thing already. If it's fixed in a patch in a few days, then ok, it's only disabled for a few days.
The twins soft lock bug (twice) and merciless storm also fall into this category for me. Like, why does the switch even exist sometimes?

Dunno really. Bugs that hinder the user doesnt really need killswitching since they can't be abused. Houndmaster on release was a buggy mess, but you kinda brought that on yourself if you picked her. Its when bugs AID the user that the killswitch needs to be brought in, but they instead let things go for way too long.
