Fog vials should get refilled by repairing generators
The same mechanism as crafting flashbangs. The inverse of how repairing depletes toolboxes. It just makes more sense in the context of how other items and perks function.

It would come with a charge. The unique ability to refill it passively forever is what doesn't make any sense.

Except there's only one killer. Four survs (potentially) bringing an annoying item that recharges passively (and relatively quickly) is a bit much. No other surv items recharge passively, and none of them should.

I don’t see a problem with them recharging. You have to realize that most defenses are used up and can’t be used again. The fog isn’t even that bad for killer to see through. I think it’s a fair addition and doesn’t really affect gameplay that much

Good idea. It would also force more “unproductive” survivors who just want to play around with their item to actually think about doing the shared objective once in a while — and maybe stop spamming the item, using it more strategically instead. I like the concept.
I’d also have a lot more respect for smart, well-timed use of the item from the killer’s perspective — compared to when it’s just mindlessly spammed. Right now, I treat players who overdo it with the fog the same way I treat full-on sabo squads.
