Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

When are you going to do something about the perk Conviction?

This perk is game breaking. I can extend chases even further and if the killer does decide to change targets (which most does) then they wasted a lot of time. Pair this with Soul Guard and increased recovery, you're unstoppable. I escaped so many times through hatches or exit gates because of this combo. I shouldn't earn these cheap escapes.

This should have never been released from PTB.

When killer mains try to post as survivor main it’s hilarious. Even the wording screams it.

There are a couple of builds that revolve around making you immune to being picked up after vault hits.

It's pretty fun if you're the one pulling it off :P

The post is 100% true. All of the unfair escapes were real. I was there. I saw it.

Anyways besides the weird framing of some of the previous comments. This perk has some problems. We dont want slugging right? But we make combos like conviction and power struggle or soul guard. Which with even 1 teammate what is the reasonable choice for a killer if the survivor force downs themselves on a pallet? They pick up they get saved. They dont pick up. The survivor gets up instantly with one of these. So which do you want to force? A scenario of a no win? That just isnt fun gameplay id bet for some people. And we have a downside of the perk. You instantly go down after 30 seconds. But the survivor can down themselves with plot twist and circumvent the downside. And on the last point I guess ill bring up. Name another perk that charges itself by using itself lol. (Because the act of recovering recharges the perk) whatever approach they decide to take with it im all for. I like the idea and the want to reduce slugging. But making 0 win scenarios is just going further into a loop.

I’ve never had the perk recharge itself with my recovery on the ground. I only ever see it recharge if I self heal or heal someone else.

I will agree that the perk should not work with plot twist, same as unbreakable. Remove the plot twist synergy and I’d even say increase the recovery progress on it to 30-40 percent. Also definitely make sure that your dying state recovery doesn’t count towards the recharge. (Again I run this perk all the time and I’ve never seen it recharge that way but it to make sure)

As an anti slugging perk it would be ridiculous to completely nerf this into the ground when they’re literally putting anti slugging into the health update. Make some tweaks but don’t make it useless.
