Hey BHVR. Come get a hug, you need one right now.
What is in the past is in the past and you as much as anyone should know we have to press on and fix the future.
The critique is harsh, rapid and it probably wont stop for weeks, everyone is yapping about it, but merely observing all the feedback and working on long-term solutions is not really what most critical players are looking for.
I know you will fix this long-term, you always do, right so there is not a worry in my soul about it. But I think getting some plans on the table would really help stir the conversation into a positive direction, giving people an idea on what the next few months will be about.
I know you have been working on the Phase 2, with all those anti-tunnel, anti-camp and MMR changes too.
You got that Southern Asia Killer coming, I am so stoked about all these that, hopefully some good fixes for longtime issues and a chapter too. Sign me up. Luckily we have 2v8 in a week or so, My favorite game mode.
So listen champ, you know by now what needs fixing, tell us what will happen and then go do your things.
Thank you for your time.

The corporation composed of grown adults doesn't need you babying them.

"I know you have been working on the Phase 2, with all those anti-tunnel, anti-camp and MMR changes too."
- Don't have too high expectations; not much will change from what it is now. It's better to expect little or nothing and avoid disappointment.

Not babying anyone, Kindness is just better way to inspire to get stuff done. Way better than the current sickening work-environment that is going on right now. Nah, I have the people who work at BHVR in mind, They need my love and it will be refreshing for them to not see someone who yells and spits at them. Human psychology still works the same.

Sure, alright. Let's all give BHVR kindness, instead of money. Maybe that'll inspire the work that the game needs, because the money they make off their fans clearly hasn't.

Were they kind to Chandler and Otz when they were trying to provide a work around to the DDoS attack?
No. They interrupted Chandler mid-sentence and basically said that they know better despite having no clue what to do and being aware of the security issue for years.
Were they kind when people requested a game breaking perk be kill switched?
No. They were dismissive, antagonistic, and couldn't even get basic facts straight. Apparently "there was worse stuff nobody was talking about," therefore our concerns didn't matter, until there was public backlash.
I'm kind to people who show that they themselves are kind. If you want to glaze them because you're content with being verbally slapped in the face and served an unfinished product that they expect you to pay for, that's your choice, but their recent actions certainly don't radiate what I consider kindness, no matter how many sanitized corporate apologies and promises to "do better" that they give.

Yeah I highly doubt we will ever see Chandler play DBD or ever show for a BHVR event again.

I think you misinterpret being kind with 'will do everything I want' First of all, the killswitch policy was not what the people wanted still does not change it was policy and for the stream they didn't want to engage in mitigation but instead went to questions. Regardless its not wrong, rude or evil to interrupt someone, people are taking this way further than it is.
I think people just want to see evil because it explains their frustrations, World is complicated though.

After this many public screwups, Behavior no longer deserve hugs or kindness. How many times have they messed up, said they would do everything to change and then proceed to do nothing?
They've shown time and time again they are dismissive and flippant about their own fanbase and will only apologize when put on the spot after major backlash and never before things get ugly. That's not a healthy way to treat your audience or content creators and I'm tired of it.

Kindness is fine for when the issues are minor in scope. Now the time to make BHVR lock in

Honey you've got rose tinted glasses on while in an abusive relationship with this company. They have demonstrated over and over again that they're not going to learn, or they would rather prioritize short term profits instead of fixing the game. They damage control with apologies that ultimately mean nothing or give you useless cosmetic items like a charm as another form of "apology".
But it's all just a way to placate you and keep you spending money on overproduced cosmetics and unfinished licensed chapters while they continue to do absolutely nothing. And by posting this, sorry but… you're enabling them. I have not spent money on this game in 2-3 years since I saw this pattern, and I suggest you also vote with your wallet like I have.
It's the only language they understand.
