Why would they add an achievement for the new map, right after hard nerfing map offerings?
I have to have played 60 trials in this chapter by this point. I've lost count of how many loam offerings I've used up. I've only seen Fallen Refuge twice. And I was immediately tunneled both times. Pig and Pyramidhead. What happened to the map queue? Devs, you told us in the 9th anniversary pt 2 stream that every new map would come with an LTM queue. Where is it?
I'm tired, I'm angry, I just want to be done with this. Prior to the FNAF chapter, the newest map would have a higher chance of selection. Now, it's capped out at 5% tops. 20% with Loam offering, then a 25% if the correct realm was picked. I am so tired of playing in the Pizzeria, and Garden of Joy, and Greenville Square…Are the devs ashamed of Fallen Refuge? Is that what it is? With the confusion of it being a full map, or just a tile…
Honestly, I would be satisfied with a note from the devs. Could you imagine if this was the case with the Fnaf chapter? Would there not be questions if RPD didn't show up during the RE chapter and Project W chapter? What's going on?????? I just need Don't Open Dead Inside, and we're good BHVR. That's all I'm asking for here

The only reason I could think of that it doesn't have a seperate showcase queue, even though they said this would be the case going forward, is because Fallen Refuge was never supposed to be a map. It went from 'just a tile that spawns when playing against or as Michonne/Rick' to 'no it'll actually spawn whenever' (because of obvious backlash) to 'spawning only on Withered Isle maps' to 'REALM EXPANSION' (a term that until now had never been used before), which ended up meaning a new map, even though the roadmap did not make any mention of it. The map as it appeared on PTB seemed unfinished, a rush job. And the actual live iteration ain't much better.
Long story short, not even the devs knew what the heck they were doing xD.12 -
It may help to know they changed the whole "must have a TWD character in thr lobby to get the map" rule. As ive been to it without any of the walking dead characters in the group. And yea i mustve played 100 rounds and saw the map 4 times total, with offerings. And 3 times were hardcore tunnelers its like that map makes killers have to win at all costs whenever they see that place. 4th time i had a dracula that again started tunneling people off and i barely got out the door by the skin of my teeth with me and one other survivor left. I swear if i see that map as killer im not killing anyone vecause that achievement is an extreme pain.

Thank you, but I was also there when the confusion was going on. I just want a comment from the devs about what happened. But this entire chapter is a cluster #########. They need to revert Offering changes or give fallen refuge It's own iffering. It doesn't make sense that Dvarka maps get their own offerings, but Refuge needs to share with 3 others

They need to retire the whole map achievements thing entirely, this is a complete punishment for solo players who didn't abuse the map offerings.

Nerfs don't typically line up very neatly. I still remember when they made a tome challenge require you to get the Killer to whiff using Dead Hard, only to nerf Dead Hard right after. It's not efficient, but it unfortunately is what it is.

They could stop making achievements for future map releases sure, but they cannot change the existing ones.

Because they don’t intend for players to brute force achievements, I imagine.
It’s one of the worst maps in the game. Barely even a proper map. Playing the game would have been hell if people kept trying to force us there.

They nerf Map Offerings for their opinions but meanwhile we have to specify feedback on why we think the Fog Vial nerf is bad. Let me be a Balance Consultant

I imagine whatever team comes up with the achievements doesn’t work for the balance team.

Yeah, looking back at the roadmap for this year, TWD chapter didn't have "new map" listed, like the FNAF and November chapters. It REALLY looks like it was supposed to be an altered jungle gym tile, and the players (understandably) saw it as a step into pay2win territory. We're in Year 10 of this game. Why should Survivor choice lead to in game changes? Sure, Dracula brings Castlevania with him, but that's outside the map.
